galaxy man reminds me of astro man, same goes for hornet man which reminds me of blast hornet, concrete man is gutsman and stone man fused, plug man looks like dynamo man, tornado man looks like harpuia, splash woman looks like leviathan, jewel man is crystal man and gemini man put together, magma man looks like fire man, heat man, and needle man. So pretty much capcom just reused some of their other robot masters and rearranged to fit megaman 9, pretty genius.
