i think its just that her voice isnt as strong as the studio that does her cd make it sound. Like Mariah Carey's voice isnt near as strong as it sounds on her records and u can tell that alot when she sings live cuz her high notes are perfect but the lower she tries to sing the weaker she sounds.

Good job Demi! These are her own songs guys. She wrote them and the Jonas Brothers helped her write some of them too. And the only reason her voice is scratchy is because (as LinaPeanut said) she is on tour for the first time and her voice has not adjusted to singing like that every night and even some mornings yet. Also it is early in the morning in this vid because it is GMA so it's probably like 7 or 8 am. No one can sing very well so early in the morning haha. But she still sounds good.
