I won't ever love a band like I loved Rise Against. Seriously, they are my first and eternal music love. The first time I came across them, I was 12 and deeply impressed. It is I who dislike this video! My reason is this::

While Rise against is one of the better modern bands it is tragic to hear them try and awkwardly force this timeless and legendary folk classic into an over produced and overly polished cookie cutter pop punk music format......The song loses pretty much every bit of drama in this anti climactic and over hollered translation.

Ride against doesn't make cookie cutter songs either, listen to rise against and look into the lyrics and the complexity of the message that ALL of their songs convey. Watch the live shows of them and see all the small things they do to show their beliefs about-

@xXRiseAgainstPunkXx A lot of people who don't like them have only heard their newer stuff, (Appeal to Reason, Endgame, and Sufferer and the Witness to some extent). They're decent albums, but are more 'pop' sounding than they like.

RA's earlier stuff (Transistor Revolt - Siren Song) is pretty good hardcore punk wise, but it gets noticeably more 'pop' sounding as it progresses. I love the band, but I can see how people dislike them. Whatever, it's their loss.

The CD will have bands/artist cover a bunch of Bob Dylan songs, that's why Rise Against did this cover.
