  • Whoever it is, at certain parts they sound vaguely like Flansburgh, if anyone.

  • ergo indeed

  • not him, but that's a great cover. :-)

  • not tmbg for sure.

  • Do you own the live album "Severe Tire Damage"?

  • I do not. Remember: Worst fan ever. :(

  • Ohhh, I just realized a clip of the acoustic version is in your YouTube video. That's not by TMBG, it's a fan recording.

  • Well, it's definitely not TMBG, I can tell you that. I think you must have donwloaded a cover of "She's An Angel", but I don't know who's singing it. But it's not John Linnell, sorry if that wasn't that helpful.

  • It was helpful! I knew Linnell sang "She's an Angel" so when I heard this, I was a little confused, but I just assumed it was also him until proven otherwise. So that clears that up! Now I'm even more curious as to who the real artist is. Hmm.

  • I found this song on Pandora, and Pandora says it's by Charles Douglas.

  • it's not the Charles Douglas one, I have that track.

  • Sorry, no idea. I've never heard of TMBG.

  • they did the theme to The Dailey Show (amongst countless other things)

  • And Malcolm in the Middle, and Dunkin Donuts commercials! ;) I think that TMBG is one of those groups that I think many people have heard... but don't realize who they are. My mother in law didn't recognize their name but did recognize a number of their songs, anyway.
