how quick from 0-100mph? i was lucky for a job i got to drive modified bentleys, about 700hp and 0-60 in 4sec, 0-100 in something like 8 or 9 sec, i really wished a sti or something fast came up next to me while i drove those cars but nothing very fast ever did. some guys in mustangs of course, its so ridiculous when we both floor it, then im moving ahead of them at 2x the speed. they must have felt bad ;p

I have a WRX STi and I think it's more down to the car than the driver. The selector is more like a lever than an actual selector, and as such it makes it easy as chips to do blistering gear changes. Love my Scooby.

I don't want to be an ass but I think most guys that launch sti are doing it at about 5k because the wheels do not spin on a stock sti. Wrx, I may be wrong, spin a bit so they can launch a bit higher. There is no need to bash on me if you disagree.

nah, remember its a awd car. Thats a pretty smooth launch. Any harder and it would spin or fry the clutch.

STi's are nice u hit 60 in like 4.5 sec n dats pretty damn slick how u have da shift light but i bet it gets annoying as hell after a while

Thats definately gotta be a pro-drive. I drive a 2006 Sti w/Prodrive package and hit 60 in around 4.5 seconds. Its not possible for you to do it in less than ~5.2s in an unmodified car unless your pointing downhill. Still wicked start, i wish i had the balls to drop my clutch at 6k rpm! lol

oh 'lgisdatdude', that shift light thing you can turn off easily and change the rpm you want it to beep/flash at. I have mine set at about the same 5900 rpm
