حاضر يا عزيزي، تكرم وتدلل.

شوف هو المقام الأساسي نهاوند على درجة الصول (علما بأن دوزان العود مخفوض هنا بمقدار درجة واحدة، علشان بس نريح العود لأنه عزيز علي جدا :).

وهكذا يكون السلم (تصاعديا) كالتالي: صول (قرار، يكاه يعني)، لا، سي بيمول، دو، ري، مي بيمول، فا/دييز، وأخيرا صول جواب.

ممكن اسأل عن نوعيه الاوتار ؟

الأوتار المستعملة هنا هي بيراميد، لكن لم تكن مناسبة باعتقادي. قمت بتغيير الأوتار "لخلطة أوتار" أخرى ليخرج الصوت الذي أريد من العود (كما يمكنك أن تستمع وتشاهد في فيديو "موسيقى خفيفة على العود").

عزيزي من خلال الخبرة وجدت أن بعض الأعواد يناسبها أوتار لا تناسب أعواد أخرى، رغم أنها نوعية أوتار عالية الجودة. من أفضل الأوتار حاليا: بيراميد، توماستيك، كرشنر، جاللي، أكيلا. لكن طبعا خذ بعين الاعتبار أن هناك نخب من كل نوع، لذا عليك أن تتحرى ذلك، وتجد ما يناسب عودك.

برأيي أداء تلك الفرقة لهذه المقطوعة هو أفضل أداء، لذا تأثرت بها كثيراً

So OP, Your memories are more serious than Tayseer Elias... He is playing it with a smile (I imagine/hear). I got back to Ziryab cd to compare... You really put your artistic touch in this.

The few times I saw Tayseer Elias he was always smiling :-)

Well, once the great Ammar Shrey said something like "...music can instigate different states of emotions and feelings.....so for one it may stir a breeze of joy, but a wind of sadness to someone else... so it all lies in the ears/perception of the beholder after all". I feel this particular piece has some sadness in it, and it is quite entertaining to know that Tayseer Elias played it with a smile :)

Moh'd al-Qasabgi was a giant musician, who dedicated his live 2 music. He was very humble that he actually played in Om-Kulthom's band up until his departing. Being a band player, he played the composers of others as young as Baligh.You can actually see Qasabgi in O.K's videos on U-Tube, behind her w/Oud. If you deepen into his music, you'll find oriental & western influences. Qasabgi was the 3rd member of the original O.K. triangle, with my favorite Ahmad Rami. Raqq il habib. Nice play, O.P

Couldn't agree with you more spartason. This truely shows his dedication to music, that he played behind Om Kalthoum music composed by others ! His touch on the oud still remains vivid. I could often times focus on his unique oud touch and sort it out of the band, and tell this man was greater than just an oud player. He was a music legend indeed !. I'm planning on playing one of his Samai's soon I hope ;)

Allah, Allah, Allah! I especially loved 3:05-3:30. The maqam switch was absolutely lovely. It made me do the all too familiar eyebrow furrow, head shake where the person usually says "Allah, Allah, Allah." Haha, anyways; splendid.
