Stuff like this turns kids into musical robots. I see a lot of potential in this group but things like "Rock Camps" strip away the creativity in music and causes them to only be able to play covers. If you want to play covers your whole life then more power to you. I'm not saying that these kid's aren't talented, because they are very much so. I just think this is a very poor way to teach kids about the creativity and self expression that music can give an individual.

@adrummer85 They don't belong to a "rock camp". Check out kidsrockfree . It is a music school. This group of kids have been playing together for 5 years through this program. This particular video was shot about 3 years ago. Yeah .. they play covers with Fender, but on their own, and now 14 - 17, they have all become accomplished song writers. They are doing a non-Fender gig at the Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood tonight and will be playing 3 originals. I'll post them in a few days.

I just played the album version along with this cover and they are almost exactly in sync! There are only a few times (one being the guitar solo which was too short) that the band was not in sync with the album version. Even Rush playing live would be off a little bit. I think the kid playing the guitar solo go a little nervous but playing like that when you are 14-15, you've got a bright guitar future.
