It is very variable, the rating is not only component you need to increase so you could play in first team... It depends out of many things...

actually fifa created the be a pro in fifa 2008 and now pes 2009 made the become a legend based on fifa's be a pro, i actually always loved pes, but the pes 2008 was awfull, i played the pes 2009 demo and its good, and the become a legend was what i always wanted, its like a career mode!

Unfortunately PES 2008 was a major step back for KONAMI... They almost destroyed the game with that edition!

PES 2009 carry many improvements and it's worthy of PES 6... But still has some flaws...

Become a legend mode will bring more fans to this game! They've done a good job!

So, PES remains better than FIFA!
