The mustang still won... the transam only had it the first 60ft or so due to a bad launch spinning thru 1st and 2nd in the mustang.

well let me tell u all i owned a 94 formula firebird and i now drive a 2000 mustang gt. both cars were manual. i hate to say it but my firebird was faster not by much. but now with the kb 2.2 upgrade on my gt i shit all over them fire-tirds

Well....I have a 1998 GT with a 2000 GT engine, transmission, suspension, and interior. The car has headers, High flow catted X-pipe, and underdrive pulleys, and 3.73 gears. Before I even put the gears into it I ran dead even with a 1995 Trans Am that had a full exhaust, SLP lid, and an intake......sooooooo idk what to make of this vid lol.

i drove the stang. first time racing a 5spd, so i didnt shift too well. and the pontiac is stock, automatic.

Bullshit. Mustang should have SMOKED the pontiac. Bone stock the mustang would have won. Or could have won.. shitty driver bad tires and the pontiac isnt stock ... SORRY!

@reverseoreo08 no back then the 6cylinder f-body was more than a match for the gt mustang so this being a v-8 bird a modded stang might be about even

@majuub100 maybe a v6 93 bird vs a 93 gt.. which only has 205hp. yea.. but not a 93 vs a 2000 gt lol I had a 2000 Mustang GT 5 speed. Bone stock aside from cold air. x pipe. and flowmasters. and of course good tires. and from a light i would eat up a firebird. and im not talkn about the v6's. my freind has a 98 ls1 camaro. bone stock. i get em from the launch but obviously hes gonna catch me. if the mustang wouldnt have spun through 1st and second.. think about it...... he woulda won.
