  • There's me thinking Martine McCutcheon was the original singer.. But as usual, if you hear a song today that seems good, likely it's a rip off.

  • Ilike song..¡

  • Havent heard this for decades, lovely bridge break, and a great vocal talent, probably a Bee Gees tune as well,

  • wow.. thought it was a black woman who sang this

  • wow! those were the days of real music.

  • Hermoso

  • uhhhhh love me please !!!!! just a little b...

  • Please activate the option for mobile phones, so that this great video is also viewable on mobile devices (Youtube: "My uploaded videos - Edit - Broadcasting and Sharing Options - Syndication – Yes, make this video available on mobile phones and TV … - Save Changes").

  • Great song and what a doll!

  • I am thinking about breaking up with my boyfriend i am really struggling with it , AND Every TIME I THINK ABOUT DOING IT I THIS SONGS pops in to my head ..so depressing;(

  • beautiful song!!

  • The crowd is too close...they're surging forward at Yvonne!! Security should be surrounding the stage to keep that mosh pit under control!! (It must be the way she sings "love me please, just a little bit harder")????...;-)

  • I Love You!!!

  • REAL MUSIC .....LOVE IT.....LOVE ME PLEASE

  • The BEE Gee's were masters at key change

  • This was actually in the charts in 1976. Brilliant track!

  • God love this song.

  • One thing about the 1970's. People did not believe in getting their asses up and dancing. C'mon man!!!! 35yrs. in the making & it will still put the new artists to shame. This song rocks!

  • Love the song but the lip-synching is pretty average!

  • she's stunning

  • Yvonne Elliman was so awesome! Why wasn't her career longer, stronger?

  • written by the bee gee's but sung so perfectly by Yvonne. Man i dont get these white people in this video, how can they listen to this song and not move their asses a little. ''WHITEPEOPLE''!!!

  • @tanyboomchow prob because there sat down and tables r in the way...possibly

  • European audiences always look like they are on Quaaludes or like Deer caught in the headlights. Every old performance I see done in Europe they always look so unmoved and unemotional, I'd be singing along or dancing in my seat.

  • She is so gorgeous, love this lady!!!

  • omg,i remember this, thanx 4 posting, reminds me of my yooooot back in the day.

  • Damn. I'm in love. What IS IT about that voice... strong yet soft at the same time! Great timing and phrasing on her part too. This song plus the divine "If I can't have you" showcase it beautifully (hats off to Barry Gibb). Still can't find the descriptive word for her voice though... "cozy" maybe?. I give up; it's just beautiful.

  • dude, these are hilarious!! download this in downloadmusic .im

  • killer voice !! no one from the 70's till now could compare. no one's even close!

  • Imagine what it would've been like back in those days when we heard these songs, loved listening to them but not knowing what the singer looked like, but we loved the songs anyway. Today with the help of many devoted lovers of good music we can go back in time and re live our youth, to a degree. We can't buy time so use it wisely and cherish what we have.

  • @myfeeling4you That has got to be the best comment against a record I've read.

  • Excellent ..fine.. super... great... and everything else ..bravo..etc.,,!, Brings me right back Bigtime. More than any other single i ever heard from that year.

Would give anything to go back there and then. Downhill slope since.

  • The lovely Yvonne Elliman....beautiful love song. thank you for posting fritz1356 and thank you for sharing east lothian21

  • one of the best love songs ever!!

  • lol at the lip syncing

  • @chevyvictor this is how it was done then, unlike the no singing today. When you were on Soul Train, Top of the pops, or a show as this, if you could not come with your band you lip synched to your own record.

  • She's beautiful

    Good song

  • Yvonne hit that one out of the park!! I loved that song since my teen years. VERY underrated. I was surprised to see someone found a video for it. She has alot of soul in her voice, too! ;^)

  • Crap comparing to Robin. Sorry

  • @eddiethegein , much better than Robin's version. Sorry.

  • European audiences tend to have this blank stare. I've seen it in countless old videos.

  • I love this song so much....I miss lyrics like this.

  • thx 4 sharing all you do fritz!!! william/miami

  • The audience look drugged or in a trance!!

  • This song brings me back to my teens. I used to sing it all the time. Love Yvonne's voice and of course the song was written by my all time favourite band - the Bee Gees. Classic!

  • Que orgullo los que tuvieron la oportunidad de compartir de cerca con ésta bella cantante, muchas gracias Ivonne, por darnos ésta musica maravillosa.

  • Love this - brilliant song...brilliant vocal by Yvonne :)

  • Heard this in my car today while driving, sun was shining , pretty girls everywhere and wonderfull memories.

  • The audience seem subdued and not awake!! Shame as this is such a great song

  • This is my favorite Yvonne Elliman song hands down!

  • Anyone who knows or can post her song 'From the Inside' from her album Rising Sun?

  • Respond to this video... Love this song

  • she looks crazy now!!!

  • the best!

  • BeeGees wrote this.

  • a beautiful song but a shame it was dubbed over, even worse she was miming

  • KICK ASS SONG!! THIS IS REAL MUSIC!

  • I was only 9 when this song came out. Yvonne Elliman was my favorite singer. She had and still has a massive voice. I use to try and sing like her with my microphone in my hand (it was a hair brush). oh what fond memories. 40 + now and im still trying to sing like her (without the hairbrush) now (heh hehe). Your the womann Yvonne

  • She is just beautiful in this video. I love her smile at the beginning. And that silky voice... singing those words!... {sigh}.

  • Love this song. Takes you riiiiggghttt back to the brilliant 70s

  • Me recuerda cuando tenia 17 años....mucha fiesta de toque a toque...

con esta cancion mas de una mina me levante...muy buen tema.

  • lindo video

  • What the hey, can't blame Elliman for going the pop route in the late 70s. Most musicians struggle to make a living. No one can discount the great stuff she did with Clapton and Blind Faith earlier in the decade. And although this isn't particularly relevant as regards Elliman's music, she is a gorgeous and sexy woman:) --

  • WICKED SONG!!

  • love this song, might do it for my singing exam!

  • great song i always love this i agree with what u all say about th audience LOL

  • nice

  • lol i konow what ur sayin "blancface" lol but anywho i love this song they always play this song in the jamaican club and i get excited when it comes on....

  • yester years! cherrish those memories dearly. music like yvonne will never fade. will be around for future generations to appreciate. let's keep our finger's crossed! for those of you who remember the music from the 70's, know exactly what i am talking about. I remember when she sang this song on dick clark's american bandstand! The only thing is Yvonne didn't know how to lipsync the correct way!

  • i agree blanc. wake em up. she is great.

  • gosh, could the audience be anymore boring?

  • i will xx

  • My Mom must have known there was trouble ahead when I danced around my room and sang along to this record when I was 12....in UTAH!!!! HA!!!

  • Great video of memories long ago! I get a kick out of the restraint of the audience...they must have been told to keep looking forward and not turn around...

    Thanks for sharing!

  • Awesome! I am a changed man.

  • Thanks for posting this great old music video, it brought back lots of memories.

  • Brilliant, thanx 4 posting

  • great great and great, one of the best underrated love songs, written by the bee gees
