We had to pay alot of money (about $5000 American) and they had to spend time in quarantine. They were good dogs, and they behaved like legionaires so we weren't going to leave them behind.

for your info, when a stray dog decides to hang around your base you usually will have to put the animal down. dogs who arent cared for can carry diseases, bugs, etc which get in the way of the mission. so think about things like this when you rant.

i tend to watch vids like this at the library. one time i got so hyper over puppy cuteness and began baby talken to the monitor saying "OH HES SO CUTE!" and "PUPPY CUTE! PUPPY CUTE!" .....people around looked at me like I was a dude gone crazy
I have watched this video so many times. It always makes me laugh. :) Poor little guy was so tired. About the name "Ugly," I think it's ironic...like when people call a big dog "Tiny." And for those who are enraged that these Marines are gently playing with an adorable puppy...come on.
My cousin is in the army and has been to the middle east five times. His unit has adopted dogs and cats and such too. They call them their "mascots." I think it beautiful how you guys take care of those animals.

@adiostraitorobama Another person that think he knows anything about islam, it indeed is not allowed to keep a dog as a pet in house, it is only allowed to take a dog for a particular reason; guard, hunting etc.
It is haraam to keep a dog or any other animal on a short lead for long periods without food, water, and shelter. Dogs need exercise and are social creatures who form organized “family” structures in nature. Dog owners therefore need to spend time daily with their dogs.

@apalmer464amber He didn't do it for entertainment if you watch a vid on it, he said that the dog was sick and he wanted to end its life before it died a slow painful death, but he didn't wanted it recorded and it was still sick as hell, i would have shot(If it was going to die a slow and painful death, if their was no hope for it it) and buried it.

I have watched this video so many times. It always makes me laugh. :) Poor little guy was so tired. About the name "Ugly," I think it's ironic...like when people call a big dog "Tiny." And for those who are enraged that these Marines are gently playing with an adorable puppy...come on.
My cousin is in the army and has been to the middle east five times. His unit has adopted dogs and cats and such too. They call them their "mascots." I think it beautiful how you guys take care of those animals.
