  • hi ivan .. thx for the video i just have one problem .. when i connect the guitar directly to the mic input of my laptop there is no sound ... i hear nothing that i play in windows ... i don't have this problem on my friend's desktop computer .. so will buying the DI box solve the problem ??

  • If you can't see the "monitoring button" put your cursor right below where it should be, and click/drag it down and it will show up. Spent almost an hour trying to figure out where that button was myself -_-

  • when im using reaper i cant hear anything im playing ive turned monitoring on and record but still nothing please help

  • @slaydz765 Do you hear the sound in windows?

  • This is a great tutorial!! Well done Ivan!! :)

  • @GabrielLeopardi Thanks Gabe :)

  • How do you turn the monitoring on? Kinda lost here. Can't seem to find it.

  • @SaymonLovesTaeyeon It's in the lower right corner of the audio track section. It's a green button, small button with a triangle. Try to watch the video in HD and see where I click when I talk about turning on the monitoring

  • Hi all. I downloaded Reaper and Amplitude 3 free. I can't seem to get Amplitude into Reaper. I select VST in FX on Reaper but Amplitude is not there. What am I not doing? Bob

  • @kennmore1 Go to Options>Preferences>VST>Click on "Add" and choose folder where you have installed Amplitube 3 plugin (.dll file)

  • @IvanMilenkovicMusic I was having the same issue, tried this, and amplitube still does not show up under the VST list.

  • @audioinjection Have you found the Amplitube installation folder, and Amplitube.dll file?

  • @webmasterintexas If you are member of GMC, you can do it for free, you have over 2000 great backing tracks available (from all lessons). Check the site for details

  • How to download your backing tracks?

  • show us how u mix and record the backing track and the guitar solo. im having trouble because when i press record i could only hear my self playing while the backing track is completely muted. pls comment back=)

  • @devilNino666 Make sure you un-mute it

Jest press the "M" button again.

  • @Cyb3rHack3rx im not dum dude-.-.. i did that a hundrend times

  • @devilNino666 No Offense, I didn't mean to say your dum, But It's a common mistake people make that's why i thought it wood be worth pointing it out

But if you un-muted the track before playing then it should have worked

If your using external sound card or audio interface then you need to do more settings

I am sure lvan will help you out

    Peace :)

  • @Cyb3rHack3rx anyway thanks, i already solve my problem..

  • Hay, Mate

Really nice video it helped me a lot and cleared lot of questions in my mind

But i have one more question, The guitar sound from the Amplitube till 6:41

And the guitar sound after your record the solo starting from 6:44 sounds different

In between both time lines did you do something to mix the solo with the backing track ?

  • @Cyb3rHack3rx Hey there! :) Thanks! Yes, I believe I did change the pickup position on the guitar, only that. The preset remained the same.

  • @IvanMilenkovicMusic Thanks mate, I will try it out now :D

  • Dang, Ivan! You really rock this!!

  • Great video. I have wondered about this alot. Thank you for great great lesson.

Even tho i have expensive, I really like the idea of only free software. nad not any fancy stuff.

    Keep on rocking !!!!

  • @PeterTheChriss Thanks Peter, cheers \m/

  • Nice one Ivan, very helpfull for many ppl

  • Thank you very much :)

  • Fantastic tutorial - you rock Ivan!

  • KILLER! And using all free software is just BRILLIANT! Great tutorial man, well done!

  • there are many ways to do this, you could have just put a microphone infront of your amp and synched it all up when finished recording or just use an auxiliary cable from amp to microphone port on computer and record with audacity and then synch it up like what you did but with other programs but good vid and gotta say.

    FIRST FTW!

  • @playNsleep Thanks my friend. The methods you wrote about are also excellent for those who have microphone or an amp, so I definitely recommend experimenting and seeing what gives best results. This method is for those who just started with recording and cannot afford additional gear, but have guitar, cable and a regular PC.
