  • There was no need for the japanese, whatsoever...

  • @xmcxmcxmc

There was a need at the time when I 1st uploaded this video, because most of my subscribers were Japanese. I added the Japanese translations so they could benefit from the lesson too.

  • wish this could be posted as soon as you get on youtube! most misspelled word in history! either as wala or wahlah so sick of people using words they can't spell!

  • I like when you subscript what you are saying. It makes hearing it easier.

  • u r beautifullllll, but the quality of ur vid was not good. u should buy another camera, lol

  • lol yeah i know. Actually I recorded this whit a mobile phone.

  • @lehiochoa

yeah that was recorded over 4 years ago for fun with a mobile phone.

It was just the beginnings of Youtube and people were just having fun.

Since then of course viewers have become a lot more demanding.

Well that's why I'm not making videos as often as I used too.

  • well i was studying english very time ago and i just find your videos and you like me!!....ok?...a dont speak en inglish but i doesnt matter, i try it!!

  • you, my dear, are an interesting find..you proclaim to be a french native but your english lacks a french accent, at least, to my american ears. funny but you seem to possess more of a british vernacular..none the least, i love your videos and find them educational but you seem to ramble with randomness, which can be confusing

  • Don't like it, don't listen to it. XD

  • Why are you addressing this comment to the maker of this video when she obviously did not reply?

  • lol exactly.

  • Many of us in the young generations and having been born and bread in cities and studied recently (including semesters abroad) don't have French accents or only slight ones when speaking English... Get used to it. It's different when i go visit my family in the country though... True.

    Merci!

  • you are hot!!

  • that's so crazy that you can change your accent like that.

    mad props!

  • Nice work

  • Is there any difference between Voilà as "here you go" and Voici? It would be appreciated if you would tell me!

  • I guess you can say 'voici' to say "here you go", it's probably a bit more formal that's all. I know I wouldn't naturally say it, tho it's not an absolute mistake.

  • In fact voici is to show or designate something you cannot say voici mon travail est fait it is more like voila mon travail est fait. voici le char de l'armée canadienne for exemple. voila can also be used to designate something. I mean, you can't say voici like that without showing an object.

By the way I'm francophone from Quebec so I know what I'm talking about :)

  • British accent then American! Cool. :)

  • i really like your way in speaking french....and english and chinese as well..hahah i dono anyways..am learning french myself and your videos rili helped out...je peux parle plus fancais maintenant..mais j'ai etudie la francais depuis neuf ans....mais juste je cru ca je suis meillure dans la francais.tu as aide moi..merci!

  • French is a very difficult language to learn. Did you learnt french for nine years? Because...you made lot of syntaxe mistake. That would be : Je peux plus parler Français maintenant mais j'ai étudié le français depuis neuf ans. (I can't translate that sentence it could mean many things.) tu m'a aidé merci.

Keep up the good work I really encourage you to keep studying french! :)

  • Actually, it would be ''Je ne peux plus parler Français maintenant mais je l'ai étudié PENDANT neuf ans (=i studied it for nine years).

  • thanks a bunch dake!i went to paris this year...no wonder why french people laughed behind my bak when i talked to them in french:p

anyways it was a nyc courtesy from u to point at my mistakes..wish ya de best!

  • I learnt english mostly at school. and then a 1 year stay in england made me more or less fluent.

actually, your question reminds me that my mom bought me little yellow books to learn english when I was about 9. they were full of games and funny activities, with tapes and songs too. that's how I got started I guess...

  • haha ok :D you learn new languages pretty fast don't you?

  • I guess so, somehow I remember things very easily, as far as languages are concerned...

  • It is still better than many others american XD you made only 3 verbs mistake but francophone can still understand.

  • Merci..you are so cute! :)

  • So I was told that 'vous' was addressing a group of people, rather than 'tu' which would address a single person? What is the difference between the two?

  • 'vous' is to address a group of people.

but 'vous' can also be used to address 1 person it's the polite equivalent of 'tu' and should be used with stangers, older people, people you don't really know or you simply want to keep a distance with

  • Ohhh! Thank you! Makes sense now :D

  • Your english is so good I did not know you were French at first, and couldn't decide whether you were English or American! Or perhaps Canadian. I am American and live in France and am learning the language and you are a big help, MERCI.

  • AND!

you speak chinese really well :) i speak chinese with my parents and even they were fooled when I showed them your '在那遥远的地方' video!!!! Formidable!!!

(where did you hear american english? Isn't England closer?)

  • american english is everywhere. TV, movies... YouTube... there's nothing to it!

physical distance don't anything now, the media erase it all!

  • Oh my god, I think I love you! Your English is incredible and you speak it with such ease! Are you bilingual or did you study English? Your videos are so clear and effective. I'm English but have studied French since I was 10 and I still struggle to pronounce / speak with ease. I'm even ashamed to write this in French for you! You have such a talent!

  • I call my self "fluent in english", but I realize that there's still so much that I don't know. Never STUDIED though. Just learnt like dat. particularly when I was in England. TV and Radio were my best teachers

  • Pourtant tu as un accent plutôt américain non?

Bravo, tes vidéos me font réviser mon anglais, continue... ;-)
