This book gives the unbullshitted account of Operation Red Wings and the follow-up operation, Operation Whalers. Ahmad Shah & his group of militants did ambush a 3man sniper/recon team after they had a chance encounter with a wandering native but they did not end up the same way the SeALs of Operation Red Wing ended up. To be succinct, all of the AQtypes with the captured SeAL gear are with their 72 virgins in paradise. So nice of the marines to help them achieve their goal of martyrdom

Awesome book to read. I'm glad someone is telling the full story of what happened. Definetely some learned lessons (to say the least) for working in a joint environment.
