  • i saw alot of box type mitsubishi.

  • 3:14 that was the PAG-IBIG Building in Makati...

  • Makati is a totally different place today because of the ongoing renovations but honestly I still like the old Makati. Its beauty and simplicity before is incomparable.

  • @gregfroy222 - You are very right! Old Makati will be in my memory and heart forever :)

  • Thanks for the video.I started working in Makati, sa Atrium ,Makati ave in 1991.Great video It brings a lot of memories.

  • Thanks for bringing back the memories! 1991 was the year I started working and my office was located there in Makati along Ayala Ave., so those places and scenes are very familiar to me. :-)

  • @herbiephils - No problem, glad I was able to help :)

  • ShangRi La ginagawa pa lang ang Glorieta

  • it means.. that makati, or the whole manila,, totally civilized as now.. there are so many projects to be built.. so wow.. manila is great

  • wow old school

  • Daming Toyota Corolla dito noon, Ang ganda pa ng design ng kotse noon, ngayon panget na ung design ng Corolla.

Buhay pa ang Pascual Liner d2, Wala na ba ngaun o meron pa?

Anung kotse minamaneho niyo? Mercedes-Benz 190E?

  • wow time travel hahaha thanks for uploading this

  • puro isuzu gemin pa nag taxi

  • You should see Makati what it is today and you'll be amazed...

  • @LAGOTKASAKIN69 - I was there last year and your'e right, Makati is so different now, I didn't recognize it anymore.

  • Great video! I remember walking around the Ayala avenue area during my college days. What's the name of the music playing in the background? Good background music.

  • @robtwister - It's called "Sunshine" by Kevin Macleod

  • this is the beggining of the trafic era.. pre number coding days

  • i miss this place, i'd worked in one of the ayala corporation in makati during the 80's and early 90's, it's nice to remeber those good old days...

  • nice. you guys right. makati is sooo great.lots of latter buildings.

  • I was in Manila from 25 March 1991 until 25 May 1991. I was staying in Ermita, but travelled to Makati a few times to visit my embassy there. This is how I remember it. And those old taxis - yellow - with sugary wording on their sides. Ford escorts.

    Great video. Precious.

  • That was the time of rampant 12 hour brownouts. Katatapos lang den ng 7.7 earthquake. I really hate those times since lubog na lubog ang economy ng Philippines nyan after numerous cous. And our image was sooooooo battered internationally. Yan ang mga nakakahiyang taon...

  • I was 4 at that time and now I'm 23 and presently living in Makati.. It's nice to see this video and do a comparison with the present time. I am inspired by your videos.. thanks for posting.. :)

  • @bunchybunchable - Your'e welcome :)

  • if ever by chance you come back again, you'd be amazed at how cluttered the skyline is w/the construction of the taller towers. that skyline is just so wide open compared to now.

  • @BzErOsIx - I was in Makati last January and your'e right, the skyline is a lot crowded now compared to 1991. I didn't recognize it any more.

  • good old philippines :D miss philippines so much :(

  • wow.. ang ganda at ang linis ng paligid..

    wala pang pollution.. hehehe...

    nice one bossing..

  • there is no place like home...

  • astig video mo dude! galing!

  • Thanks!

  • Hey I used to live in Twin Towers!

    Memories... :)
