Gosh you make it seem so sad like she is dead.... please. She is alive and well and mother of Rashdie Jones the actress on TV's "The Office" and "Parks and Recreation" and the recent movie "I Love You, Man."
In The Office when Rashdie (her Character Karen) meets Michael Scott for the first time he says to her:

My mother actually looks like a cross between Peggy Lipton and Kari Matchett. My cousin also resembles her daughter, Rashida Jones.
