  • I'm from Ireland. This is very sentimental...but I still love the song and can understand how I would feel listening to this 3000 miles away. Anyone from County Clare out there............

  • what a lovely tone from your machine ! What model is it ? What year ?

This is my all time favorite Bing Crosby song by the way !

    Cheers !

    Dave

  • @bud21s It's an HMV Model 202 Re-entrant, introduced in 1927. They're a fairly rare machine with between 500-1000 believed to have been made. The oak 202 & mahogany 203 were the best sounding internal horn acoustic machines ever made, having substantially larger horns than either Victors Credenza or 10-50.

  • Tune into the Bing Shift Friday nights 7 - 8 PM jazz88fm.com

All the greats by Bing Crosby

  • She sure did, and what a great influence she was ! I remember her with such pride and respect, and need I say love,There is is no Mother that can compare with an Irish Mother. (Of course, I am bias)

  • I Love The Crackle And Hiss Nothing Like It

  • NO BUT GRANDDADS MOTHER DID!

  • No, but her mother did, as did my dad's mother.

  • I feel bad for hearing Bing Crosby for the first time 10 seconds ago....what the hell have I been missing, right?

  • Yes she did actually! Ballylongford, County Kerry arrived in USA In 1947. I miss her very much.

  • Frank Who! Your waps can't do this!!!
