  • the best marketing fraud in USA is deepack chopra . glad i read all his book and i gave him all the benefit of the doubt . . just like the devil knows how to mix the truth with lies that you can not detect . unless god decide to intervene and lighten your soul before this chopa cabra will fool you .

  • @devinedelilah

i think i agree with you man...thumbs up

  • Chopra is a charlatan and a fraud.

  • @themajordude Agreed, though he probabbly does help people to a degree .......help them what? ...thats a good question. ..mind, I'd give good money for a voice that smooth .....I do a mean Segan as it is. =)

  • @themajordude so r u.

  • I am beautiful... so now, who wants sucky sucky fo five dolla?

  • those who teach vipasna meditation free of cost and charge no money for 10 days kemp are foolish, mother teresa was also an idiot who charge no money for the welfare of poors.

deepak chopra is an englightment soul.he dont help his countries miserable population at all and teach englightment to the rich celebraties, wow i love him,.i also want to make money through spritualism in the future ,i love to make fool of people.

  • I concur with Dr. Chopra to a degree but a 1-minute answer is obviously rather simplistic. Eating disorders include many deeper issues than self-image alone. For some, life itself is not appetizing. Therefore eating becomes a metaphor for sustaining life. There are many emotional factors involved: fear, anger, grief - to identify and overcome. Some choose to ignore them.

  • DEEPAK CHOPRA IS A GREAT BUSINESSMAN OF SPRITUALISM

    I LOVE HIM

I LOVE HIS MONEY MAKING TECHNIUES AND LORD BUDDHA,MAHAVIRA,JESUS CHRIST,GURUNANAK, CHARGES MORE FEES THAN DEEPAK CHOPRA FOR THERE LECTURES AND all these saints dont teach anything to poors, misrable people but they travel to western nations to charge 100s$ for there lectures, buddha at his time of death deliver a lecture to a seeker ans charge thousands of ruppes.

  • Instead, I recommend that we acknowledge them to ourselves until, with awareness, they dissolve. Maybe this will be seen as semantics, but in reality there is a subtle, energetic difference between acknowledgement and expression. The first is an objective observation of the emotion; the second is acting it out which triggers additional emotional response. This has the effect of actually reinforcing the emotion as it drives the chemistry of the emotion deeper into the tissues.

  • this advice would be absolutey useless to anyone with any body image disturbance let alone an eating disorder.Self afirmations in general are largely useless and totally unproven.Driving the emotion deeper into tissues is complete drivel.

  • What is interesting is that we need not use our ego/mind to think of what is right and wrong. The Yang energy has dominated our world for thousands of years, follow your intuition as Yin energy is the force that will reconcile and change us back to our higher/magical self. Where thinking will no longer be needed and we will evolve to the next level of humanity.

  • what is that drivel supposed to mean

  • I'd be more inclined to take your opinion seriously if I knew where you were getting this all from? He's not just the owner of a day spa somewhere, mate. He also used to teach Medicine at a well-known medical school in U.S.A. among the other credentials I listed. No one is asking you to preach mind-body medicine if you aren't into it, but why denounce the man for trying to do what he believes in?

  • egasserd8888

    I agree with you.

    It just sounds like crap.

  • You, sir, are an idiot.

  • George W. Bush was are last president & he had horseshit credentials too-fuck chopra and his pocket credentials-too many self claimed guru's that don't know shit but whats worst is there's alot of self-loathing losers that buy his garbage!

  • the dude was a practising doctor but hes a clown now,

  • @everyone who is debating "professional Medicine" vs the guy in this video's "trite pop-psychotherapy", he is Dr. Deepak Chopra, practicing endocrinologist +former chief of staff of New England Memorial Hospital in Stoneham, Mass. Trained in both India+USA, he's also exec. director of the Sharp HealthCare Institute for Human Potential and Mind/Body Medicine in San Diego. He's world renowned for his lectures in USA, Europe, India, Japan, and Russia. He IS the professional, keep that in mind.

  • WOW ... You actually beleive in his crap Octococky ....... the list of credentials is not that impressive just diplomas , we do not know where he got them and the rest his own creations , he made all his instutute , expensive spa , he is a donald Trump NOT A SERIOUS DOCTOR

  • He's a practicing endocrinologist and former chief of staff of a hospital in Mass... they don't give those jobs away to people with diplomas. I agree that he has carved out a nice little industry for himself selling self help books, but it is based on a belief system (albeit one you may not yourself agree with) that is widely upheld in many cultures and intellectual circles in the field of health. Eating Disorders are first and foremost mental health issues, Chopra's career focuses upon that.

  • wow look at the outrage that a man's ADVICE can cause...very interesting. And if eating disorders can only be treated by "professionals", what is someone to do with none of these "professionals" around. Or do eating disorders only exist in western, modernized, "professionally pretected" cultures. You know, chances are these "professionals" will give you some powerful pyschoactive DRUG and tell you to ride out the side affects...

  • I'm sure he thanks god every day for all the credulous people who give him money to recite trite pop-psychology drivel.

  • Yeah I think Buddha would be a prime example.

  • An eating disorder needs to be treated by a professional. Oftentimes it signify's deeper underlying issues, (eg childhood molestation).

To blindly offer a way of life without appropriate medical attention is unconscionable.

  • Short chubby man discusses eating disorders. Therapy not Chopra platitudes, save us from non-well meaning guru's.

  • He looks totally healthy to me. I do not see any protruding belly. He is originally from india and a believer in ayurveda. They have a different idea about healthy weight. There are many yogis in india who is not lean and thin. Just check the book of Iyengar, the master yogi. In your eyes he will be chubby too.

  • After 20 yrs I quit smoking in 2003, June 14to be exact. Actually I hated smoking during the last 3-4 years and the fact that I didnt seem to be able to have the will. When I finally did, it was more of promise to a loved one, and it was by going cold turkey. There is no other way!

  • well done..things happen whenyou decide tochange..be happy always..

  • I think though, that you may find later on, when your exhausted that you caused a lot of hurt and havok that wasn't really nessescary to get where you wanted,

Hating yourself and motivation can be two different things, and usually the former takes over the later. ..

  • Deepak Chopra...modern day charlatan.

  • you can´t confirm that you dont have any prove if were a truth , he wouldnt be a millonare and people wouldnt get any bennefit of his books.

  • LOL, but I do. He's known for his frequent references to the relationship of quantum mechanics to healing processes. But when pressed for facts about it, he quickly backpedals and says its just a metaphor. LOL. He just exploits quantum jargon as plausible sounding hocus pocus.

And being a millionaire has nothing to do with it. I'm sure you're familiar with the phrase, "There's a sucker born every minute." That's why he's a millionaire. Desperate people always take desperate measures.

  • Peckish.....inner elves torment at many things sometimes, dependant issues regarding many factors....who's desire, what's desire, where's desire....? Alice in the looking glass...what does that have to do with how we feel....? nice tent Deepak.....

  • dear deepak,

you sure seem like a nice man.

    can i love you instead?

    because the other thing.......

    well.

  • deepak is pretty wise. it IS that easy by the way. you just have to trust that it works. you're thinking that if its that simple, its not gonna work. like it takes some major change to get you to change. it IS this simple. :D

  • if only it were that simple...
