my son did an ancestry search and found my maternal grandmother's ancestors were Micmac Indians. I am so proud to know I have Native American Indian in my family. I wish I would know more about my ancestors other than they sailed from Nova Scotia to the bayous of Louisiana and settled in Lafourche Parish.
