The only atonement for sin is by the shedding of blood according to the Torah. Ex 30:10,Lev 5:6,Lev 17:11,Num 15:25. As we are all sinners because of our rebellion against YHWH & HIS Word, we all need atonement. Daniel 9:24-26 and Isaiah 53:1-3 tells us that The Messiah will be rejected!! Deuteronomy 18:15-18 Moses tells us that there will come a prophet after him and should listen ! I'm not a Christian or Jewish, but I really have a dislike for these Christian missionaries. They go all over the world trying to convert people.
I'm from India and I see these people coming from America and other western countries trying to convert us Indians into Christianity, the result is they destroy and divide entire communities into Christian and non-Christian. First the Muslims invaded India trying to convert us and now these Christians. I hope the Jews stand up to these missionaries.

While in India he learned about Hinduism and Buddhism and even practiced Yoga. The Buddists in Tibet even have recorded proof of Jesus visiting Tibet and India and testify to the fact that Christ practiced Buddhism.

During those 7 years, Jesus went to India and learned about Lord Krishna and became a devotee then he went to Tibet and even learned about Buddhism. That is why the teachings of Jesus are so similar to Hinduism and Buddhism.
Very little known fact to westerners is that Jesus is currently buried in Kashmir region of India. He wanted to be buried in the land of HInduism. Just search Jesus buried in Kashmir.

Thanks to Emperor Ashoka, there were Buddhist colonies in Palestine along side the Jewish ones in the time of jesus. Moreover, the parables spoken by Jesus were first taught by Buddha who lived five thousand years earlier. These facts are recorded by modern historians, something the Catholic church was n't counting on. Modern day Christianity is Hinduism and Buddhism all rolled into one.

First, I am pagan, NOT Christian, Muslim nor Jewish. Ani medaberik ivrit,, v ani ohev Israel v Israelim. But I believe STRONGLY in the human right to freedom of religion. I was pentecostal & I was taught that Jews had a pre-existing covenant with God, but Jews would be further blessed with Jesus. Other christians take the route that jews are "incomplete". I take the view that God(s) judge the person. I oppose missionaries & yad leachim while I support their right in principle to propogate faith.

I saw Christians change their names to Jewish sounding names in order to deceive Jews, and a multitude of other lies. @dvkuth=Messianic Jews are not Christians, the term Christian is normally referred to Gentile believers in Yeshua (JESUS). Only Catholics and Protestants are Christians, as well as Orthodox Christians. There is a difference between Messianic Judaism and Christianity.

If you actually believe that, you are a pagan, because although it is a very entertaining story, it isn't of Jewish origin. @critter505 A belief in Jesus IS Christianity. The Jesus story is based on paganism. The ETERNAL covenant is with one indivisible God and a belief in your story is a straying away from him. Those missionaries are trying to convert as many as possible because according to their beliefs, when Jesus supposedly returns 2/3 of the (unconverted) Jews will die along with everyone else who is not a "born again" Christian. And people like Hagee are calling for war with Iran to bring the end times.

The prophesy of the Messiah was foretold by literally hundreds of scriptures in the old testament alone. Because modern day Jews have not accepted Jesus as the Saviour, does not make it a pagan religion. People only think that because early catholics used pagan holidays to make converting to Christianity for northern Europeans easier. And nobody is "aggressively" preaching it in Israel.

And despite what you think you know, the Old Testament has many prophesies about Jesus, and it explains in great detail the works, and situation of Jesus. But, we all see what we want to I guess. @Matthew1944 Not true at all. Yes, there are Messianic Jews in the U.S., but there are at least 15,000 that live in Israel, and were born and raised there. This is just religious persecution at it's ugliest. I am not anti Israel, quite the opposite. But, the more I and others here in America (Israels biggest ally), hear about this kind of thing, the more it sickens us/me. Nobody is forcing their religion on you, it's time for Jews in Israel to focus their energy somewhere else.

They don't go door to door in Israel, they don't aggressively yell at people to change their religion. And, to say Christians have no respect for other peoples religions is a joke, that's the pot calling the kettle black.

They street preach or lure the poor or lonely Jews and kill them with kindness, but with the final motive being conversion. No, Christians think they have the ONLY truth and they DON'T respect other religions which they consider to be false.

How many bombs have they set off in non Christian homes in Israel? None, yet they are constantly under these types of violent attacks by orthodox Jews. And the government does nothing. @critter505 - They use stealth and lies with their PRIMARY PURPOSE being to convert them to Christianity BUT they don't tell the people this. They tell them they are Jewish Christians. This is not possible because the moment you believe in Jesus, you are a Christian of Jewish extraction. YOU ARE NO LONGER A JEW. Don't you even begin to know the differences between the two?

@Matthew1944 Jews believe in one indivisble God. Christians believe in a three headed one. Jews await a fully human messiah AS ALWAYS. Christians have a man-god based on paganism. They are under violent attack by orthodox Jews because they can't keep their mouths shut and practice their religion in private just as most of us do. The government does nothing? It should do more - like making public prosyletization illegal but then they would cry persecution. When you play in the traffic....

@Matthew1944 Christians r commanded 2 preach 2 the whole world + that includes Israel. Only God knows y Jewish ppl on the whole reject The Messiah. As God says: They have a zeal 4 God but want 2 establish their own righteousness + not God's Righteousness. I can only go by what the Scriptures state. It saddens me that so many Jewish ppl have no time 4 the Son of God who died 4 us all. I pray that they will turn 2 the Lord Jesus + repent of sin + trust in the Messiah...

@The3in1trinity - In the time of Jesus, there was no Christianity. Jesus was born and died a Jew and his message was for Jews who strayed from Judaism so If you choose to preach, you should be preaching Judaism. Your concept of a messiah is skewed. There is no THE messiah. Messiah in Jewish thought and would have been the thought of Jesus too - a fully human leader/ king - NOT a man-God. That is pagan and that's why the Jews don't accept the divinity of Jesus.

@Matthew1944 page 2) In Judaic texts, the term messiah was used for all kings, high priests, certain warriors, but never eschatological figures. In the Tanach, moshiach is used 38 times: two patriarchs, six high priests, once for Cyrus, 29 Israelite kings such as Saul and David. Not once is the word moshiach used in reference to the awaited Messiah. According to Torah (the Law - which Jesus upheld) one person cannot atone for the sins of others - each person must atone for his own sins.

There would be no "persecution" (if NO means persecution) if the Evangelical Christians remained believing in their own religion and stopped trying to force it on the Jews. Other Christian denominations live in Israel too but they don't preach and they have no trouble.

R Jewish ppl saying the Old Testament is not God's Word? The answer i am sure is no! Then y do they not c the prophesies concerning Jesus, The Messiah, Immanuel, The Good Shepherd. The Psalms attest 2 Jesu's death in a cross hundreds of years b4 it happened at the time when stoning was the normal killing??????????

@The3in1trinity - The Tanakh (OT) has nothing to say about Jesus. Christians tend to cherry pick verses and come up with interpretations which are false. Without an understanding of Jewish thinking that went into the writing of the OT, a knowledge of the traditions and laws of the time, along with a knowledge of the history of that time, one does not have a clue about how to correctly interpret the OT verses.

@Matthew1944 The Old Testament has many prophesies that show who Jesus is, y He was sent 1st 2 the Jewish nation + then sent His Disciples 2 preach 2 the whole world.
It's God's Holy Spirit that does the interpreting 4 a Christian. God is not a God of confusion + makes His Word known 2 all who desire 2 know it. Also, most ppl r not scholars so read the Old or New Testament with the understanding they have been given of God.

@The3in1trinity - The OT has nothing to say about Jesus - Christian misinterpretation. He was sent ONLY to the Jewish nation. He told his disciples to avoid gentile towns. The holy spirit has nothing to do with Christian interpretation - they simply cherry pick, misinterpret and think they have "truth" from an edited, mistranslated bible.
