Obama is such a flip flopper. He was FOR NAFTA and now b/c it's politically liable, he's AGAINST it. What a piece of garbage. A complete hypocrite. LIED about Clinton's plan and no one called it on him. YOU ARE A LIAR, Sen. Obama.
saw this on nyt: "Barack Obama doesn't have an impressive record of experience or a unique policy profile. New politics is all he's got. He loses that, and he loses everything.
Besides, the real softness of his campaign is that he has never explained how this new politics would actually produce bread-and-butter benefits to people in places like Youngstown and Altoona.
If he can't explain that, he's going to lose at some point anyway."
In short Barack cant win the Presidency. He is a hack.
You just ignored the IF in that last sentence, didn't you. Assuming that he can't explain his policies, when I'm sure he can. His purpose in the primaries/caucuses has been to energize the electorate, which he has done amazingly well. As we've seen in the last couple debates (which are now about issues, rather than many candidates trying to get airtime) his policies and arguments have been solid and held up well to scrutiny.
And what about the polls that say only Obama can beat McCain?????
I dont believe it until he sys it because everytime someone says something bad about what is said in his website or by his advisers or by Axelrod, he or his people say that if Obama himself did not say it, it does not count!
You obviously did not go to the website then, because it is mostly quotes from various speeches/policy statements he has made. Certainly if someone else (advisors) says something, than that is not the candidate's responsibility...advisors are people too, for good or bad. And their disavowing faked e-mails and things that are not actually from his website has been well established. I think you can take the quotes from him as being fact, however.
Nope I did. BUt just like when Hillary told him that there is nothing in his websites to show how he is going to fund his efforts.. he jus hems and haws and says that that is not what he is saying... that someone in his campaign must be misinformed.
No Obama has nothing. If he can deny something to be his, then its not worth re-reading.
Dont make the mistake of what you think he might do = he will do. YOu might just discover that like Iraw and Nafta, he has been lying to you.
I made the mistake of believing what the Clinton's said they would do when I voted for them in '92. Hillary couldn't bring about health care then (with Dem control of the House & Senate), so I have no reason to think she can do it now.
As for Obama paying for programs, withdrawing from Iraq would save enough $ to pay for a majority of what he wants to do. That's simple math. And just as you choose not to listen to Obama, I choose not to listen to Clinton's disinformation about him re: NAFTA.
I feel so sorry for this country if the Clintons get the nod, and I know for a fact they are cheaters and liars and I willl hold my nose and vote for Mccaine, as will many others!
Obama is stupid, NAFTA has benefitted all three countries, and he is a lier, I have never voted for a republican, but it looks like this time around I will vote for a patriot and honest individual, 'cause neither this idiot nor Billary have any integrity.
The statement said "there was no intention to convey, in any way, that Senator Obama and his campaign team were taking a different position in public from views expressed in private, including about NAFTA."
The Canadian embassy in Washington says it "deeply regrets" the affair, and that "there was no intention to convey, in any way" that Obama was being inconsistent about NAFTA:

Obama had MONTHS to explain his policy and so far.... a whole lot of NOTHING.

He has been plenty specific for a political campaign. If you want details, why not read them for yourself...

The Clintons also supported Wal-Mart who out-sourced millions of US manufacturing jobs to China.

Wal-Mart didn't out-source US jobs. We consumers did.
