Catch a wobbuffet in the cave that mewtwo is in the first game. He s abbility is that no one can escape him. Then take your time to weak and catch Latias. Also work at Raiku and Entei as long they dont use roar.

Man Latias & Latios were tough little bugga, for I have to drain their healths to red & use Wobbufet to prevent them from leaving & get tons of Dusk balls for night for it speeds up the catching process XD

Fun fact you didn't know: Latias was originally supposed to be Blaziken, Torchic's fully evolved form.

I have a method that is really good i catched both raikou and entei on 5 minutes with this method First you take them to 20-1 hp then make them sleep (They wont wake up!!!!) Then use quick ball 1-2 times it worked for me!!!!!!

Ive gotten every legendary with dusk balls and latios with fast ball and mewtwo with moon ball. Latias is the only one Im having trouble catching. How the hell it runs when she is asleep I have no idea....... Health is even down almost all the way and still cant catch it.

@Blackbommer200 What you should do is use any Gyarados (if you have it, use the Red Gyarados you caught at Lake of Rage) and get it to the level where it learns Dragon Dance. Make sure it also has an ice type attack. For what you do in the battle, Claire will start out with her own Gyarados so if you use the Gyarados, your Gyarados will be able to wall it. Keep on using Dragon Dance until it is very powerful and then use your ice type attacks on all her pokemon. You should be able to win.

It's probably best to do the same as the video poster and use your master ball on latios and latias, and catch the rest with dusk balls/ timer balls.

I will explain. Enigma crystal event unlocks Latias for soul silver (Its usually exclusive to heart gold) and Latios for heart gold (Which is usually exclusive to soul silver) Get it now?
