Well there are a couple of reasons:

1. This heli specifically is not the most stable. When it flies higher it cannot handle the wind so well. If a strong wind hits it, it may lose all control and come tumbling to the ground.

2. If its really high up it is easy to lose orientation quickly. It is a lot different/smaller than an airplane.

3. If its higher up, the camera cannot see it as well.

How come you guys are afraid to fly it up high ? i ve looked at almost every single video and not one goes more than 20 ft. These r/c toys i ve heard go over 100ft. Whats up with that ?

The main thing that i did was put the lipo more forward for more forward flight.
