I had a Lous Elise when I lived in London , wish I knew how to drive like him. Lotus sucks for city driving , LOVED going out of town on the week-ends , country roads are heaven.Now I live in Rio de Janeiro and I have a Jeep Trawler, city driving here is just like this video !

It was a reverse start race, the exige's pass him not long after he gets into first place if you watch the full length video. Racers were seeded based on qualifying to the elise's he past right at the start cuz he can I drive traffic better were actually not that far behind him as he got into first. I think he won the elise class by 7 seconds.

Skill is skill. Doesn't matter that some knew the track and others didn't, doesn't matter that he picked the right tires, doesn't matter that he tuned his ride better. You can have all of that, but if you are not a good driver, you will stay last, and probably get lapped for good measure.

I know enough about UK single seater racing to last me a lifetime, I was only messing around anyway, I just thought that the driver in this video did a very good job which is clear to see. I didn't know Singleton and Oakes had more funding, sorry about that. I would also like to see me do better, yet my first step would be Formula Ford. But I have never had any money, despite talking to people such as Tim Sugden and Craig Murray about getting in their cars for a test.

no i didnt win mate because FRenault BARC was a competitive championship in 06 and I only had a £50k budget which is about 1/2 of what the 2 who finished ahead of me spent!

Im not denying that guy isnt a good driver im saying the others are not because in an equal competitive championship to be that much faster than the competition either means your car is a lot better than the others, or the others are shit! how can you argue that, and how would you know, do you know anything about racing?

and also i did win races in BARC Renault in the wet which is where consistancy, speed and smoothness is most important is it not? I purely didnt have the budget for a brand new chassis, 2 new engines and 60 days of testing during the year unlike the other drivers! so concidering all i did well and would like to see you do better!
