Queen Latifah's version is indeed wonderful, but to praise her one needn't diminish other singers. I've come to feel great respect for Taylor Swift, who works hard and has a sincere commitment to her craft. If she doesn't appeal to you, fine, just keep surfing. With life experience, Taylor will get better, just as the slightly older Queen Latifah gives a kind of majesty to this "beautiful remake" -- heard for the first time by me on the day of Phoebe Snow's death.

@EpiBound I'm sorry but I have to disagree. Either a person is born with talent or not. Someone like Michael, Chaka Khan, Streisand, Aretha, Minnie Ripperton, Cee-Lo & Adele. The names I mention already had it but they also had vocal training to make their voice better. Swift on the other hand just don't have it. If I was her record label, I would had sent Swift to a vocal coach after that horrible Grammy performance(and it wasn't the first time she gave a terrible performance).

it's a beautiful album that the Q, where she calls herself by her given name, Dana Owens, made back in 2007. It's a collection of a few traditional jazz and contemporary songs that she's always wished to compile....she did this not long after she starred in Chicago.....It was said that Ms. Snow loved this cover... If you like the Queen you may be surprised by this album.....
