Maybe it's just me who thinks that Sepultura needs to have the raw sound caused by low production value to sound right, but...

Yeah, better than the newer albums, but not as good as Schizophrenia or Morbid Visions/Bestial Devastation (which btw, when reading Sepultura video comments, seems to be a completely forgotten album).

Heavy band raised in one of the toughest places on the planet. Their Roots album is a product of their country, and it is the greatest experiment in metal. I have yet to hear that level of creativity. Long Live Sepultura and Gracie Jiu Jitsu.

Sorry, elmaxs. I just don't agree. After Beneath the Remains and Arise, they slowed down and in my opinion softened up. This has groove, thrash and speed and it's fucking heavy all the way through, like the better Slayer and Pantera albums. Chaos Ad and Roots are good efforts but just don't have the balls to the wall moshing headbanging ethic from their 1989-91 era.
