  • this is awesome!

  • That gray dozer looked like a homebuilt! Question: What do you guys use for sound generators in those vehicles....the Tamiya version? It would be cool if the dump trucks had box vibrators, just like the real ones have...neat stuff! Does this mean you're ready to get rid of some of those scalers on that top shelf in your garage yet?.... :)

    Ken =)

  • @Charredbriar Gray dozer is scratch-built. Some use the tamiya sound other use Servonaut. I know of at least one dump with a vibration shaker unit.

    Bad thing about most of those scalers is that they're worth nowhere near what they used to be. Most are TLT axled rigs that nobody wants anymore. I don't mind holding on to them myself.

  • @pigeonfarmboy What is your opinion of the Tamiya sound unit versus this "Servonaut" (which I've never heard of before). I like the fact that the Tamiya unit has start, air brakes etc. Does the Servonaut? It sucks they're so expensive, though. Wanted to build a ManKat like yours with a sound unit in it....

    Ken =)

  • @Charredbriar The Servonaut has a deeper tone which sounds better to me. It's all preference though.

  • What site can i get the TRUCKS FROM I THINK IMA GET IT FOR CHRISTMAS

  • @n4s250 The trucks are all custom built Tamiya Semis. Do some research on RC Truck and Construction before diving in. Unfortunately, all the heavy equipment comes with an extra-heavy price tag.

  • This may make me a geek to say/type, but this was the best 5:40 I've spent in awhle here :)

  • @SchmumpkinII Haha welcome to the club!

  • You build this area?:)

  • @MrRCStig Yep, it's in my basement

  • @pigeonfarmboy Cool :)your wife approved it ;)?

  • Looks great. I want a 966.

  • @MaxxPainII It's definitely the workhorse of all my stuff. Especially when you make a quick-disconnect for multiple work heads. Broke an internal part recently but as soon as it's back up, I'll show off the dozer blade I fabbed up.

  • Good job nice work, looks like you had fun.
