You mention the button rules on a sweater vest are basically the same as with a jacket of any sort. What are those rules, whether it be for a sport coat, a tux, or anything in between? This would be a helpful article and/or video for me, and I'm sure many others. Thanks for the great videos.
@davidAK04 Generally it'll mean wearing the top button open, but there's a lot of specifics on buttoning jackets -- that would be a great subject for an article or a video, and we'll definitely see about putting one together. Thanks!

I love sweaters, especially sweater vests. I usually wear the vests without the buttons. Are those vests less formal?

@ironman1055 No, the buttons don't necessarily add any formality, Pullover-style sweater vests are great too!

It still looks like a sweater, so I'll pass. I hate sweaters. IMHO needing sweaters is a reason to move someplace warmer.
