was living in st. croix , usvi when this came out on cassette !! -- moodygirl67 is right , drink in the hand & toes in the sand. such a strong album !!
@hereinthebronx Thanks, I am glad that you liked it. It is strange with the Moody Blues the more you listen the more you like it, the more you like it the more you want to listen!
@MoodyGirl67 - It's actually quite a lyrically timely album for '91, in my opinion. I find most the songs from KOTK to be great for summertime relaxation, preferably with drink in hand on the back porch!
This is very weird for the Moodies ... It sounds more like Lennon. It is good though, thank you for posting! I don't think I ever would have heard this song if it weren't here. Cheers.
@kosmicwizard Good call on the Lennon reference, he kind of rewrote Jealous Guy and the Statler Bros. Flowers on the Wall. I'm not crazy about it but I do like KOTTK overall, it's got some very nice but overlooked songs. I'm not putting Lodge down, he's written a lot of great stuff and I'm a fan, all songwriters do some "borrowing" here and there, sometimes it works out sometimes not so well. I think he did better Lean on Me, which I love, borrowing the opening from Lennons Free as a Bird
im looking for a song that had the lyrics danceing shadows ont he wall and they keep ysaying the moody blues this si not the song im looking for bu ti love the moody blues there awsome
Absolutely wonderful tribute God's gift to us all...THE MOODY BLUES! Thank you ~ Janet

This is a truly haunting and beautiful song. I wish the Moodies would do this number live. John at his very best.
Thanks for posting this video.
