@bboyliangwei no, there in the video I was using Reason 4. And sometimes I use Ableton Live for the VST's. But Cubase is an excelent software as Ableton Live.
For you to decide it's a pretty even match. This one doesn't have an arpeggiator, though most programs these days just have it built right in so it's not a big issue.
the pad is the same pad in the korg padkontrol. The pads are velocity sensitive like the keys. and everything in this device is fully programable. In my opinion this is one of the best midi controllers in the market.
but i thought the pads kinda clicked. like depressed down.... my padkontrol pads are stiff, they don't move at all... but they work great, i luv them...
gotta agree. I have a pk and a k49. the pads on the k49 aren't AS good, but they feature a SQUARE sensor instead of a round one, so they are quite delicious for a all-in-one
no it's only a midi controller it only has midi connections and USB so you can use it to control another device like a synthesizer module or a software like Reason or Ableton Live
this is a very powerfull device! so u can control almost everything that have MIDI!
you can set every sound, every device, parameter or what you want to everything in this keyboard. I recomend you to mainly use it with Propellerhead Reason 4 which works with Korg Native Mode and "autosets" for the virtual device you are controlling in that moment! soon I'll post a new video showing how to set this device using Reason and how to set it for use whith another software or devices...
I have this keyboard and I have never seen it light up like that I use Acid Pro 6 how did you get it to do that only the top 8 pads of mine are yellow and the bottom 8 are usable but does'nt light up
This is an advanced midi controller it's really pro! so u can asign everything you want to any button, pad, key, slider, knob... everything to everything! it's not easy to configure this device but if you read carefully the manual u can doit! but the magic part is to use it with Propellerhead REASON 4 which uses Korg native mode so this device configures itself in realtime for the device you are controlling in that moment! really awesome. even you can change the auto asiggnments.
I mainly use Reason4 and sometimes Ableton Live! but I was using Reason on this video. I just used a Redrum and I made the beat in realtime with the keyboard while I was recording over a looping part I selected from the main Redrum Track. Sorry about the video, it was only to show my new keyboard but nobody can see how I made the beat :P

Sorry can you tell me. How do you reason with the controller. How do you make the tempo in the pad ??
If you can make a video, and show how do you make a beat with the pad and the controller. I will apreciate it.
This is making me crazy.
Thanks
