Ton of chances but not much safe ones. For example you can take damage if you barely touch his sword (even when the boss is not using it) and in some cases it is best to wait for a better opening. The skeleton is too active to be an easy boss for perfect fight (unless you are using something cheap like crissaegrim).

speaking of this game they just came out with an sega saturn emulator for the original xbox, it runs this game on the settings you run it either sound skips or video skips and sound runs good its the frist version of the emulator so it just came out to let every one know that its possible that sega saturn is possible on the good old xbox, its been out for about a year now, just waiting on a beta version of the emulator.

This is an poor made game. Notice that they used the same background of the Clocktower and Entrance in this area, as they also used Olrox Quarters and Underground Caverns Background to create the Cursed Prison Level. Nothing new that worth the experience.

I sort of agree with souljabunny because when I played the PSP version of SotN, I thought the Skeleton Leader would be in that game, but he wasn't!! I found out that he is only in the Sega Saturn Sotn or NitM!!

Shame they cut out the gardens in the US and PAL versions. The area is a really neat place. Plus it has some pretty cool monsters too. The Jinnunja is particularly interesting because of its facial expressions. The cursed prison is a piece of work. The ghosts can be hit and will go away for a few seconds, but then pop right back up. Get's quite frustrating at times.

the entrance is at the begining of the game where Alucard first entered, the hatch opens up later on as you progress. Its only Availiable in the saturn version

The lazers look like that because the "blinking" transparency effect used, so trying to do a video capture will either result in the effect being invisible or a solid looking color. It does not look like this in the game, this is actually one of the places where there is true transparency in the saturn port.

No, this is exclusive to the Saturn version which was only ever released in Japan. Igarashi was not a fan of these extras (2 levels and this boss) that KCE Nagoya added to the Saturn port, so it was excluded from any other versions of the game including the recent XLA/PSN and PSP versions. Those were more or less based off the original PSX build of the game.
