dammit. get fans by promoting under your own name. I hate when people post bands whose fans they think they can steal to get attention. you're not yo la tengo and it sucks you bitched off them.
alguien sabe que tipo de guitarra es la k usa la flaca?, es una stratocaster, pero ese color no es ni muy rosado ni llega a ser rojo, kiero una asi :( , pero nose q color es
Would have loved to have seen Ira, Georgia and James in there from the get go, but I like Times New Viking too... just not in this capacity. They did a good job supporting Guided By Voices this year though. Still, they could learn a thing or two about harmonizing. TNV only sings in unison. YLT is great for harmonizing.
kaplan needs to form another band dude. he writes all the nice rockin songs but they're put on the same album as some really gay songs that this band puts out. he needs to rock 24/7.

Nor am i the first intellectual to propose this theory. When you go to a crowded social event and people scream 'faggot' at you for wearing tight jeans, these people too are developing their thesis.

My scholarly assessment that indie people are afraid of non-whites simply comes from happening upon various indie people around town who have accidentally got in to some kind of interaction with a black person. Same thing every time... just got to watch and wonder.

unless you consider 'indie' context real world, or barley communicative liberal arts classrooms where the teachers just kind of assume you know what you're doing because you seem like you're from the right sort of family.

i dont know what any of those things you said are except pseudo-intellectual. yes psuedo intellectual is largely what 'indie culture' thrives on. For example you seem to know the names of those things and vaguely what they're about but you are completely incapable of applying this 'intellectual' knowledge of yours to any real world context.
I bow to the greatness of kunluv...Pseudo-intellectual twat...I should read some entry level critical race theory and spout shit like I'm bell fuckin' hooks.
this is a record label the promotes the WASPiest youth culture ever that i didn't even know existed before i went to a liberal arts college. Really this kind of ideology isn't even comfortable with catholics lol. Its tapping in to really conservative values from like old money and confederate anglo saxon ideologies and trying to disguise it as a hip, young thing.
My guess is it's Sharon Tate, the lovely actress and wife of director Roman Polanski who was stabbed to death in her home in 1969 by followers of Charles Manson.

JOMEDBLASS 1 year ago
@JOMEDBLASS Check out From A Motel 6, Cherry Chapstick, and
Tom Courtenay. They all have a similar sound to this and Sugarcube.
There are some others as well, but half the fun of YLT is the discovery! Lots of gems to be found in their catalog. Happy listening!

I don't get what's going on with this video, though. It's not very imaginative.
