SO would you up and quit the military just b/c some fellow soldiers don't have to lie about themselves or be afraid about being outed by some prejudiced soldier when serving along side you. They are defending our country just as much as you are sir, they are defending our rights just as much as you are even when they are denied equal rights that stragith men and women take for granted for the most part. I call that honor, love of country, patriotism and selflessness.

yes they are serving. Gays are there and I knew a few. But it is about morale, cohesiveness and the military is not a place for an experiment with two wars going on.

Soldiers will less likely reelnlist and gays will be victims of crimes as they wll be ridiculed and the behavior will not be accepted.
