The main thrust of the campaign was recycling and waste management, community protection officers are the official body who will issue fines for £100 if the bins are not taken off the streets after they have been emptied. However it was also an opportunity for the Police to work with the City Council and University to remind students about noise in the community and ask students to respect their neighbours.
