people ffs stop recording wah tests with no shoes on it fucking makes me wanna vomit...dont bad hand me..its my oppinion..thats what youtube is all about
I just got my Clyde Deluxe! And now, time to study this video meticulously and try to get good at wah technique... :) Hey, what guitar were you using here?
This is some of the sweetest and best wah playing on youtube / please, don't flame my post with Hammet, Satriani, Trower, Hendrix, SRV or similar links / the BEST wah playing, bar NONE. I play this clip everytime I need some inspiration for wah licks. Oh, I'm getting the Clyde Deluxe next month. Thanks for an amazing review.
I want to say it was in the $260 range. The other model without the settings is less, but the 3 settings really give you a range of possibilities that the step down just doesn't have.
Would you say that with the three settings u get 3 different wahs? because the jimi setting sounds like a vox, the wacked setting sounds like a bad horsie, and that shaft setting sounds like a budda wah
Totally - they do all sound unique and you can really shape the sound with the volume (which I didn't mess with much in this video). I do have to get another demo on here with distortion - maybe going through a marshall stack - fun fun fun!!
It's awesome with distortion...except I get a little radio interference in the closed position, and the distortion tends to augment that. But it's pretty slight, and it's impossible to notice if you're actually playing the thing.
Well worth the money if you're looking for one wah to last forever. It's a tank...it weighs like 6 pounds. There's actually an internal knob to change the bass and gain, too.
Dude, me too i have this radio interference in the closed position, mine i had it about 3 weeks ago...and lately i feel it scratchy too...i sent an email to fulltone to see what can i do?..or if this is normal...i mean price is high for this pedal and Mike fuller should have taken care of this "static noise"
To be honest, I don't see why you couldn't just shield it like you would the cavity of a guitar with some copper tape or something.
I know absolutely nothing about electrical engineering, so I don't know if it work or not, but if someone does, I think that'd help a lot of folks out.
@BloodShotNow oh don't think i have a bad amplifier ... i have a good brunetti combo, with which i'm completely satisfied, couldn't say the same about the wah sounds
fuckin right. That sounds badass. Just a quick question...what do you think of your Orange cab? I'm thinking of getting one myself, is it worth the money?
It screams man - it takes everything that head can throw at it for sure. I'm VERY happy with it. I did recently play a Bogner Shiva 2x12 combo and I gotta say that that sound was truly amazing - it's going to be my next amp FOR SURE.
I would love to worship ur socked feet!

nathanexplosion94 7 months ago
@nathanexplosion94 I got mine from Route 1 Guitars in Milford, CT - probably 3 years ago. I'm not sure why mine was white vs. black.

The wacked sounds perfect for some Jerry Garcia-esque stuff. Now I know for sure I'm getting this as my first and only wah!
Instrumentofgaia 9 months ago
probably the best demo out there for these wahs. The others hammer it with overdrive, and it's hard to hear the differences in settings. good stuff!

where do u put ur clyde in ur chain? before or after overdrive:?

as cool as it may seem to have the volume boost that this pedal has, it doesn't seem to completely turn off, so i prefer the the standard

Please do put up some more! You might consider making a tutorial/lesson video, because your timing and control of the pedal is amazing.
A little more than two weeks to go and the pedal will be mine! ... ah, the sweetness of Clyde...

It's a metal enclosure and I'm 99% sure the grounding part of the jacks touch the enclosure. Hence it is in fact shielded :/.
