Assume this were all to be to scale... about 100 of Coe's tiny huts would be the equivalent of the first area in world of warcraft. Of which there are multiple. Then adding up everything else. Well, in the end, these 9 dogs would be far greated than the 10 million the ad ACTUALLY says.

@912Nasher -sigh- 100 of the coes huts would be just the SPAWN AREA in world of warcraft, of which there are many.

This means that about 1000 of coes huts would be the equivalent of the SPAWN area in WoW.

However, WoW is about 1000* larger than the total area from the spawn/starting areas

so 1M coes huts = 9M dogs.

And you're right, the players in WoW are a lot harder to kill than minecraft's wolves. That's why it was sarcasm.

@22bakery because the spawn rate of passive mobs was dropped. And now there's nearly no passive mob spawns in minecraft full.

@darkpheonix005 Actually, the only way you can get passive mobs to spawn since 1.8 is by breeding. The don't pop in and out anymore.

@77222John They still do spawn initially though. It does suck with 1.0.0 though. I usually end up with pigs and chickens, and either cows or sheep. Never have both of those spawning in the same area for some reason, which makes it annoying to get either my first bed or my first set of armor.

having advanced opengl on means it will only render blocks that are in your line of sight, it's supposed to give performance but unfortunately on most AMD-graphics cards it doesnt. it's buggy too if you have view distance set to far. i recommend turning it off

I don't understand why Notch decided that the water ladders and stuff were bad and 'fixed' them.

@hitokage4 Actually, what happened is that blocks such as water, fire, and lava would stick out on certain sides. That means if you had a fire under a block of cobblestone (or any other solid block), you would be able to get hurt on two sides, even though the cobblestone should stop you from being able to walk into the fire. A similar thing happened with water, which made water ladders work. When Notch fixed the fire thing, he also broke water ladders.

people there is a vid called relodable fire arrows, you get water, put tnt in it and shoot abunch of arrows on top of the tnt and make sure there is a giant lava waterfall in front of the tnt to the arrows catch fire while going through then you push a button and boom it explodes with the arrows

as to the whole stair thing, its not as bad as it seems. i know you only get one cobble back when it takes 6 to make, but you forget to take into concideration that you get 4 stairs when you craft it. so if you destroyed 6 stair blocks and recrafted them, you can get 4 stairs back. so its not too bad :D
