Scripture clearly teaches that there is no such thing as a good man, Romans 3:10-18 there is nothing about us that justifies God's love for us, its only because of who He is, that is the hope we have, its not based on our performance. Rob Bell teaches much that is man-centric and watered down. Also in Velvet Elvis his book he doubts the virgin birth, dismisses hell, n in one of his vids says Peter lost faith in himself rather than Jesus on the water! You need to have the heart God has for these people. God wants everyone to come to Him and know Him and be saved, but He gives us the freewill to decide if that's what we want and He tells us the consequences of our choice one way or the other, which is very merciful if you think about it. If sinners meet God's conditions, He'll immediately forgive them because He's merciful and compassionate and gracious and loving. Yes, He is also just, but His heart aches for the lost. You don't know Him.
