I guess I'm too used to the slower, easier, more pleasant narration, even by someone as gruff sounding as George Carlin.

Only 15 minutes in and this movie is both annoying during the Thomas and friends scenes, and boring during the Shining Time scenes

It's such a shame...the child actors are awfully cast. Mara Wilson is getting way too old for the gappy smile routine. :\ And Patch doesn't seem to be able to act at all...nor does Fonda...Alec Baldwin is slightly scary...

Great movie! I think Russell Means did a fantastic job replacing Tom Jackson as Billy Twofeathers! He's a fantastic Native American actor! I remember him as the voice of Pocahontas's father Chief Powatahn in Disney's Pocahontas 1995!
