What if you have headlight washers? I can't seem to remove the bottom trim piece because there is a washing mechanism and washer fluid tube attached. How do I remove this piece? Can I remove it?
@MrLawnerd No problem. Simply pull. They will pop off. Maybe wiggle/rotate a little bit to loosen any gunk. Once they pop off, they will squirt fluid everywhere and it will drain the car completely. If you wish to avoid doing that and losing a bunch of fluid into the bumper (not a big deal), you can pull the beauty trim off the bottom as shown, but just leave the headlight washer intact and hold it back while you work on the headlight.
@MrLawnerd A third option is to yank it off, separate the washer cover from the beauty trim, and use it to "plug" the washer reservoir while you work. That's what we normally do.

hey i have a 2000 328ci and ive tried to remove my turn signal but it just keeps turning. I dont want to break anything so if you can help that would be great. lol
@taylorvw1992 That model has a "clip in" turn signal, so that's a little different... but in the off chance that there is a scren in there, maybe the headlights have been replaced... In that case, After a few turns, it is loose, then you can just remove the turn signal. It doesn't unscrew completely.
I love my 328i. Only mod is a Signature Motoring performance intake kit. They run around $170 and add up to 9HP in the E46 323/325/328 and up to 13.9HP in the 330. That's about $17/per extra HP... A good value for the extra oomph. General HP increases are shown:

I have a 2001 325 Ci Convertible and I do not have a screw for the blinker there.
DrGamble28 1 year ago
@DrGamble28 For that vehicle, you need a flat head screwdriver, push down the tab gently and pull out.

The e39 is glued together, you have to bake it to open it unfortunately, but if you have a 2002 or later it can't be opened at all.
