My Mom studied in England when she was working towards becoming a Physical Therapist, and she saw the horrors of a Government Owned Healthcare System, and she and I know it was beyond belief in horror. That's why I did not support the Healthcare Plan, and that was in the months before I could vote. Now I can - I'm 18; and in 4 days, I'm voting all for the Republicans.
There's nothing good about Obama, and yet he thinks he's helping us all with his heinous plans.
He calls Obama partisan? Really? He's going to raise taxes when he's in fact LOWERED taxes? Really? Limbaugh makes me laugh every time I hear him. He's such a short sighted hypocrite. Too bad everyone is hiring again; I'd love to see where he got this "American people losing 600000 jobs a month" thing. At that rate, America would be jobless within a year or so... Limbaugh is SUCH an idiot.
@ToddAlex127 Did taxes go down for you? Now that Goverment controls your heath are you better off? Now that Goverment controls housing did you get a free home?
By the way, whats free about taking by force from one to give keep most and then give very little to people in need??????
Obama is lying again. He only lies when his mouth is moving! The community organizer who cajoled banks and government to be more lenient on loans is now reaping the harvest of his seed.
Great Video. Yes, we need to rise up again, to fight the corporate influence over our government, just like they did in 1773, when the British East India Company (which was heavily invested by the British government) tried to force it's cheap merchandice upon our economy and undermine our smaller businesses with an unfair tax while they paid nothing. We must tell the corporate elites and those in our government who have been paid for, by them, that we will not tolerate their crony capitalism!!
RUSH - Where were you when G.W. Bush was screwing up the NATION for the past 8yrs - Weather you like Obama or not - He is stuck cleaning up the MESS of G.W. Bush .....
Once again, Barack Obama, the one who promised bipartisanship, talks down to those who do not agree with him. How can he expect people to work with him when he is totally condescending to them?
Yes, Maha Rushie. I hear and obey. Ditto! Ditto! Time to get the teabags. Time to get the teabags. Must....regurgitate... talking points. Must protect...the rich. Drill baby, drill. America...must fail to prove you right.
Well government "intervention in people's lives" has worked in Europe quite well. Most of the European are in middle-class and get free medical and free education. I have listened to their ordinary people and their officials and none of them wanted to go anywhere near the US model. They are all happy. May be this country can use some of it too.
For more and more treatments you have to pay extra money.
Taxes are going up through the roof.
Doctors are leaving, in remote areas you can hardly find one any more.
Oh, and you don't want to be middle class in Europe.
We have smaller houses, smaller cars and a lower standard of living here.
It comes with a price and its not worth the product. Most Americans have no idea, how much it will cost them but trust me, you dont want the European system.
There was this American woman that I knew. She moved to Germany and became German American. She was sick (some cancer stuff) when she moved there. She said she would have been dead if she was in US because things are so expensive here in US. According to her she was getting best treatment while paying close to nothing. I got my ideas from there. May be this happens in Germany only.
Hmm, why do you think its advanced, and not cheap as you but it? Could it be American medicine spends so much on R&D. Could it also be India doesn't have the headaches of law suits i.e.malpratices insurance, along with high cost of conducting business American style, and along with over regulate government? It's painfully obviously you do not know what you're talking about.
It is expensive because pharmaceutical companies earn from 500% to 5000% profit. Thats profit which is what they earn after subtracting all the cost. I am with you on law suits. I think it is ridiculous when courts just hand over millions of dollars for little mistakes.
Without profits there is no R&D. These so-called evil pharmaceutical companies spend millions of dollars, and years developing new drugs. Which can be for not if the USDA rejects the new drug. These same company's have share holders to answer to as well. Other countries take advantage of the product, without the investment aspect. You also don't have the same oversight in other countries, as we have here. So yes they can do it cheaper. The issue is more complex then you think.
Your missing point, who decides what is excessive profit. Can you predict the cost they may incur in the future? It is not my place to define what is, or isn't justifiable profit.
Well it is our place, as a society, to define the justifiable profit because we are the one paying for it. These pharmaceutical industries are holding us hostage and I think it is the Government's duty to do something about it on our behalf. They cannot keep charging obscene amounts based on unforeseen future costs.
@cathy0007 Thats odd, I know at least 14 people who also had very bad Cancer Stage 3 and 4's and all lived.. All here PRIOR TO this ASSININE BILL Called Health CARE!! wHICH BY THE WAY CATHY-- This 2000 page bill has NOWHERE THE Words Health CARE IN IT !!!!! Dont swallow this Sock Puppet OBAMA's words.
@ZKoftherebellion What facts did you have again.? Or are you just another geek who only knows how to throw mud and personal attacks without any basis or substance.?
@ZKoftherebellion when you have a relevant question, I have no problem answering. So far all you have thrown at me is a tirade of personal attacks. You do know that in the world of Debate Forum, it is considered a loss when someone resorts to personal attacks and comments. Hence your loss so far. But hey, you can still turn this around.. Care for something intelligent to say? Ohh BTW inadequacy is spelled correctly. Try a dictionary.

I told you that they earn up to 5000% PROFIT which is in excess of the cost that they incur. Is this a justified profit?
