How many games has Ganon been in? Yeah. That's many many times he's failed and had all his work undone. Kefka needed 1 game to not only achieve his goals, but have a lasting effect on the world.
The SNES one? Yeah, I played that. Never got OoT, so I can't comment on that. But in LttP, yes Ganon gets the Triforce and creates his Dark World, but what does he do after that? Not a whole lot really. Sure he starts to break through to the Light World, but the you stop him before he can really do any lasting damage. Kefka was succeeded in his goal to become a god, in fact the only goal he failed at was to create a monument to non-existence. How many times has Ganon failed? Yeah.

You have to understand that LoZ came out a YEAR before FF came. Square had games titles, but didn't do much sells UNTIL when LoZ first came thats when Square decided to make FF because they was deeply inspired by the LoZ game. I know, because I watched the Square FF series documentary. I encourage you to watch it, my friend. By the way, did you know the Zelda 3 was ranked in first place for the best SNES game while FF3(6) ranked third place. facts my friend facts.
You have to understand that Final Fantasy was Squaresoft's last chance to make it. If the game had flopped, Square would have died then and there. It has nothing to do Zelda. They were attempting to stay in business. Yes they may have been inspired to make a video game after Zelda, but that's where the similarities end.

How many games has Ganon been in? Yeah. That's many many times he's failed and had all his work undone. Kefka needed 1 game to not only achieve his goals, but have a lasting effect on the world.

The SNES one? Yeah, I played that. Never got OoT, so I can't comment on that. But in LttP, yes Ganon gets the Triforce and creates his Dark World, but what does he do after that? Not a whole lot really. Sure he starts to break through to the Light World, but the you stop him before he can really do any lasting damage. Kefka was succeeded in his goal to become a god, in fact the only goal he failed at was to create a monument to non-existence. How many times has Ganon failed? Yeah.

You talk about how times Ganondorf fail, right but how many times he return to the LoZ series and did kefka ever return to the FF series (besides his cameo on Dissidia), for Ganondorf a lot and for Kefka hmm.....zero. Debate this all you want, however, if it wasn't for LoZ series we would not have a FF series, think about it for once.

Oh sure, Ganon keeps coming back, I fully admit that. But your last asinine statement about without LoZ there wouldn't be a FF, that's the biggest load I've heard since Sephiroth is a good villain. LoZ and FF have NOTHING to do with each other. If it weren't for SQUARESOFT there wouldn't be a FF, and if it weren't for NINTENDO there wouldn't be a LoZ. Two completely different companies. Debate that all you like, the fact remains.

You have to understand that LoZ came out a YEAR before FF came. Square had games titles, but didn't do much sells UNTIL when LoZ first came thats when Square decided to make FF because they was deeply inspired by the LoZ game. I know, because I watched the Square FF series documentary. I encourage you to watch it, my friend. By the way, did you know the Zelda 3 was ranked in first place for the best SNES game while FF3(6) ranked third place. facts my friend facts.

You have to understand that Final Fantasy was Squaresoft's last chance to make it. If the game had flopped, Square would have died then and there. It has nothing to do Zelda. They were attempting to stay in business. Yes they may have been inspired to make a video game after Zelda, but that's where the similarities end.

@Lionheart831 Inspirations dont mean much. Yeah. It inspired them to make it, but it was their last game before they were going to die. It was literally a 'do or die' situation. They made Final Fantasy, it worked, they repeated. and the reason Kefka never came back is because they never did the same Final Fantasy twice, 7 and 10 excluded. As for villains, Ganon often comes close to ruling the world, and fails. Kefka rearranged it, became its God, all because he was insane. Not JUST power hungry.

@Lionheart831 Interesting. Though it's when Squaresoft moved away from the whole Zeda theme that they got extremely popular. Or was it when FFIV came otu with it's unmatched storytelling? Whores cares. And If anything FFVI reminds me of something by Studio Ghibli.

It took a team of 12 people to kill kefka, which included powerful wizards and a YETI.
Gannondorf was taken out by a fairy-elf in a skirt and tights. And his wonderful transformation is turning into a pig. He turns into a pig.
