@Digitalbumpin wat clip were u watching, obviously not this one! if u care to look at the tv screen behind him, yor clearly see him get it quite a way off the floor!!!!!!
@Digitalbumpin he got it off the ground dumbass are you blind? so what if he's a roider... nearly everybody in strength sports is. On roids you probably couldnt manage half of this...
rofl dead lift , i lift more on the initial phase , in case u miss it 70% of the lift the weights are down oin the floor , so if hes lifting 1100 lbs he lifts them at the very end of the excersise ... also nice shoulders i have a friend juiced and he still dont have such shoulders
SO BASICALLY THIS FATSO CAN STAND 1100 LBS CAUSE I NEVER SAW HIM LIFTING THEM .... IDIOTS THEY LIKE TO SHOW OF , IF THEY WANTED TO REALLY LIFT THEY WOULD HAVE WEIGHTS AND NOT SHOW OFF WHEELS
@gloup81 He has the world record in raw deadlift and like 10lbs behinds Savickas in tire deadlift. I doubt you can say anything that will disprove that
i think the plates would break the bar u would need a VERY strong bar if u want to go show him what he did wrong im sure he would just squish u and walk away. that was nuts grats big guy
@bokabeus Or you need to. If he is lifting, but the tires are on the ground that means that the ground, or the normal force opposing gravity, is also pushing up against the tires thus he is not lifting the full weight until the tires are off the ground.
All the tiers isn't in the air until he's allmost all the way up. There for the weight isn't 1100 pounds through the full range of motion. Tho no hating, that's alot of weight!
@gaschwarck not really it helps you if you don't have very good grip strength. I deadlift without them but when I go to heavier weights every once in a while, I use them because I have bad grip strength. I have been working out for little over 2 weeks, I'm a newcomer :)
@MadMiner59 obviously it makes it easier to grip the bar thus making it easier to do a dead lift, clean, or snatch of any sort. I use them too when lifting just to work out but, whenever i would max out i wouldn't use straps.
Imagine going on a great date with a great girl, as you drive her home you take her to the doorstep, get ready to kiss her, and this guy opens the door, turning out to be her father...I'd royally shit.my.pants.
the way the bar bends means when he is lower, he lifts slightly less weight, and near the top when he has most leverage the takes the full weight, pretty impressive nonetheless
@julianbigkurac you do realize that a solid bar at that weight would snap right? If the bar didnt bend there would be no way to support the weight. Thats why bars are designed like that.
@XbrrTz i realise that but there is too much flex in the tires.. we all know the first 1/3 lift of the dead is the hardest.. this is where the weight is the lightest with the flex in the tyres and bar... still impressive but i would like to see him do it with plates
Not to take anything away from the amount he's lifted but those tires give the bar such a high ground clearance, that the range of motion looks severely reduced.
@alexgodd He is standing on a small platform, so that evens it out a bit. And this guy is a well known powerlifter, he holds all kinds of record. Respect deserved.
Since the bar bends so much, doesn't that mean he's not actually lifting all 1100 pounds to the same height, therefore doing less work? In other words, deadlifting 1100 pounds would be harder if the bar was rigid.
@EdgarE5S yeah wwe is bullshit but mark henry was very strong he even set a record or two for his time of course he cant beat magnusson but he is not exactly half as strong lol
YEah low quest is right, his form was off, now obviously lifting with your lowerback and gluttes high up is easier, but it also opwnes up room for alot of injuries, you could tell his form was off by the way he stuggled at the top. A good and solid deadlift is only hard at the lift, soon as it gets to your knees and you throw your hips forward the weight should almost com up on its own.
@A7XXrocks77 ur a fking retard ur telling magnusson his form is wrong? i'd love to see u lift 1100 pounds without stuggling at the top haha wow man pure dumbass why dont u go examine the video again and ur retarded brain might be able to figure out why he struggles more on the higher part. no cant figure it out? here is a hint the bar bends now please keep retarded comments like these to urself
@xXJeReMiAhXx99 Im the fucking retard? Youre the imbecil arguing with 20 people on this page...and Im the fucking retard????? Hahahahahaha wow I just got a kick out of that buddy. his form, along with all the powerlifters in the world IS wrong. Deadlifting done right does not achieve you to lift over 800 pounds, anyone lifting over 800 compromises his form, therefore opening up for injury. Now, before you talk out of your ass again, why dont you do some research, get back to me bitch.
@xXJeReMiAhXx99 By the way shit tard, I dont expect you to answer me right away being that youre arguing with way too many people already. Why dont you hit the gym instead of keyboard battle all day long on youtube? Or get a girl, either way, do whatever the fuck you want with your pathetic and apparently not exciting enough life. P.S. do some "correct" powerlifting research.
@A7XXrocks77 oh no worries i just finished talking with a girl and going to the gym so i'll give u my time now. why am i wasting my time here? idk i just cant pass up when i see retarded comments like urs. so powerlifters dont use good form ehh? yeah thats why they all have pulled backs ripped tendons all over oh wait they dont O_O despite doing crazy lifts weekly for like 20 years they dont seem to be fked up they must be doing something right
@xXJeReMiAhXx99 incase u dident notice this lift is done with tires that sit much higher then a normal deadlift so this is pretty much a rack pull and in a rack pull the weight is set up high enough that guess what? u barely use ur legs(holy shit amazing!) and concentrate alot more on your back muscles i know it's mind blowing right? yes but i shit u not
@xXJeReMiAhXx99 but wait why does he struggle so much at the lockout? maybe because he is retarded and does not use his legs? WRONG see if u had a brain u would realise that he is using very big weights and a small bar notice that the weights actually bend the bar! making it so that the last 2 tires on each end of the bar only leave the ground on the last 3 or so inches of the lift making that last part very hard and thus a slight struggle once again amazing right!
Hmm, the tyres make the pole curve alot and all of the weight aint up in the air untill he's more than halfway up, its the begining of the lift that is hardest, but I believe he would done it anyway :p
Let me see him lift 1100 pounds with a bar that doesnt bend.
