  • Not anywhere near as good without the ACCORDION licks ! ! !

  • Great Song,I love that song,I take my hat off to you guys.GARY V.

  • tha jail cell story is one of my all time favorites."didn't want folks thinkin that i'd steal"

  • Nothing against the lead guitarist, but I totally agree on the Don Rich comment. Buck and Dwight sure sound good together.

  • The only thing that would have made this video better would have been if Don Rich had been playing the guitar at 1:06.

  • "Baker." Right smack-dab in the middle of the San Joaquin Valley; a-half-a-milliion mesicans...And one Dwight Yoakam! Roy Clark; Buck Owens; and Dwight Yoakam. The Bakersfield Boys; kind of like a Nashville-West.

  • One of the best country duets ever.

  • 2 of the very best! Thanks 4 posting!

  • @1msbucket - You bet, glad you found it and thanks for the comment.

  • have you ever seen musicians so happy to play together..... just amazing. The way they were feeling playing this..... its a happiness most will only dream about

  • They sound really nice I can hear very little differences in their styles of delivery and their voices are very similar . They both let their notes just ease out and flow with a soft landing .

  • 29 harvick bust em up

  • Branding Iron ....

  • I love this music! Miss It a lot but on a lighter note...My 5 year old daughter said "Look at that Lady" when they showed the bassists playing behind King Buck...A big difference In my time frame and hers lol...

  • oh no, didnt know he died....my god what a wonderful enjoyment all these years

  • wow marlvelouse song wonderfull eeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhaaaaaaaa

  • wish i was in bakersfeild! man its fricking cold here in nb can!

  • I have seen a number of my favorites pass away, but I hated it when Buck died. I still hate. What a cool guy.

  • Should have been Don Rich playing the lead. perfection......just sayin

  • proud to be from bakersfield!!! central cali baby!!

  • @mmamatt88 lived out on Fairfax most of childhood..then went to Wible Road! God I miss good country live and the California Inn!

  • Love his moves!

    \

  • ¿quién es el guitarrista en el Telecaster?

  • country strong.............. these 2 are from bakersfield.. where theres no more countryboys or girls around.... bring it back and kill hip hop rap rock and shit like that

  • Really dig the mock-mandolin lines the lead guitarist is playing throughout this video.

  • Great song, Dwight had a true love for his friend Buck. Just check out Dwight playing at Bucks funeral for proof of this.

  • Bring this type of country music back!

  • These two performers are tops in my book. I agree with the comments below, that guitar player is superb! That garbage can pounder is very talented also! (Musical Band Talk) - You know that bass player kept my attention! Thumbs UP!

  • @johnnyhuis Yes I agree,great bass.Simple yet intriguing.Great band altogether really.

  • GENIAL verles a los dos juntos, BOTH TOGETHER, IT'S GREAT!!

  • Nice words...who is the monkey pounding the garbage can?

  • that guitar on the left was PERFECTION !

  • Now there's two guys enjoying what they do best.

  • What a combo, Dwight and Buck.

  • where's the accordian player?

  • Why certainly, if you don't like me then you don't no me. Where is Dwight? Have he retired permantly?

  • @333367777 just saw him about two months ago at the Pozo Saloon in California, i believe he just came out with a new cd, or atleast one is in the works, sounds great these days by the way.

  • There is not a single TV show on these days that even comes CLOSE to Hee Haw.

  • @LesbianVampireLover If you have cable and RFD TV you're in luck.

  • Bubba! this is classic!!!

  • This is so perfect!!

  • Fabulous priceless performance, thanks for uploading this ♥

  • I miss Buck. RIP, pardner.

  • Gold

  • i live in bakersfield

  • Dwight was holding his guitar head in front of Buck's face. To hide Buck's face. Buck quickly pushed Dwight's guitar neck down so that his face was no longer blocked from the view of the audience.

  • @joesitter20101 That was done in fun, though .. It was deliberately done to have a chuckle, which Dwight did as he pushed it down.

  • @OneFifthNative You're right! Of course they were just horsing around a little bit. It's easy to see these guys were good friends. Man, they sound great. Don't they?

  • @joesitter20101 Oh God they do. And there was another video on here before of them doing this song with Buck playing his red/white/blue painted acoustic, but it was taken off because of copyrights to the performance. But it was a really uptempo version with more drive in it than normal. HAve you heard of Dale Watson from Texas? He's really keeping to old tradition going there. He writes and plays and Buck would be proud of how authentic he is. Check him out if you haven't heard of him.

  • @john2johnify Buck slapped him...he's backing off.

  • Don't get any better.............

  • @elfgirl3 How do you know this?

  • great song, hate the electric fiddle tho

  • Pete Anderson on lead guitar?

  • @Bumptiously Yeah...he and Kenny Vaughn, Marty Stuart's guitar player, are the best country lead players, IMHO, since Don Rich. Those guys sure knew/know how to make a tele cluck.

  • great performance. Anyone got Buck singing "San Francisco I love you"

  • Dwight and Buck OWN this song. Thanks for posting this.

  • very beatifull i love this music. i have his cd

  • Very Nice!!!

  • I bet Dwight sure do miss Buck now.
