Hi Ken, I was sent this video with about 15 others I thought because they were being removed. Great to see I can still watch them. Will watch them all again just in case. Tracy.
I really enjoyed this!! I love the song, and how much more appropriate music can you GET for this video?? I was hoping to see Peter Lorre's memorial plaque, but you couldn't do everybody.
too bad all the people living in l.a. couldn't live underground like that. the fake capital of the world. long live chopper reid. i hope the earthquakes and fire consume you all.
It's interesting to see how plain some of the gravesites are for some really big name people. I made a special trip to Bela Lugosi's grave on an LA trip and noticed Bing Crosby was 3 or 4 graves down with a drainage pipe (for rain I suppose) installed right over his grave...sad.
That was incredible. Thank you for that. The ones that got me balling the most were Sammy Davis Jr., The Three Stooges, Carrol "Arhie Bunker" Oconnor, and Mel Blanc. I love them all..
That's the Kinks, from their 1971 (or '72?) album, "Everybody's in Showbiz." Look at the "related videos" links to the right of the comments for several live versions of the song.
That was absolutely wonderful! Great song too. I just wish Rudolph Valentino's grave was shown..especially with his name mentioned in the song, how HUGE his funeral was and the story of the Women In Black. I really enjoyed this video. I am a fan of the website as well as www.FindAdeath.com.
Thanks, that was great! I personally find dead people much more entertaining and easier to comprehend then most of the people I know who are still alive!
i like to go over to the site:FIND A GRAVE(google is our friend) and read the interesting short bios on folks (many famous and just ordinary folks) fasinating
to read and see the charm in the styles of headstones etc... i grew up in upstate n.y. w/ lots of woods(farm country) where one could walk in the woods and come upon old revolutionary war headstones. i love very old burial sites! my friends think i'm nuts! ;-)
EXCELLENT!

Nice job, Ken. Isn't it something how a memorial can give you such a connection with history and bring back memories of your own?
