  • EXCELLENT!

  • Hi Ken, I was sent this video with about 15 others I thought because they were being removed. Great to see I can still watch them. Will watch them all again just in case. Tracy.

  • What I did was tp make anything with possible copyright issues private to friends only BEFORE being asked to remove them.

  • Hey Ken, great vid! I've seen a lot of these when I used to live there and took a bunch of pics too. Cheers,

    Rex

  • Nice video check out my over 250 classic original performance videos on my channel's joelsamuelpresents and bscactuspresents

  • I really enjoyed this!! I love the song, and how much more appropriate music can you GET for this video?? I was hoping to see Peter Lorre's memorial plaque, but you couldn't do everybody.

  • thats awsome...thanks for sharing.

  • Fascinating

  • too bad all the people living in l.a. couldn't live underground like that. the fake capital of the world. long live chopper reid. i hope the earthquakes and fire consume you all.

  • hey that was cool! huh huh Dumfart huh huh

  • my name is candy xD

  • John Candy is my personal favorite. Thanks for the post.

  • Excellent job and yes it was surprising to see big name movie/entertainment stars with simple tombstones. Video well made. Thanks

  • It's interesting to see how plain some of the gravesites are for some really big name people. I made a special trip to Bela Lugosi's grave on an LA trip and noticed Bing Crosby was 3 or 4 graves down with a drainage pipe (for rain I suppose) installed right over his grave...sad.

  • Gosh, I missed this one!

Do you really want to have the password to log in THERE?!!

  • Wow Ken! This was awesome. I was sad to see it end.

  • That was incredible. Thank you for that. The ones that got me balling the most were Sammy Davis Jr., The Three Stooges, Carrol "Arhie Bunker" Oconnor, and Mel Blanc. I love them all..

  • I guess the creator of this video will never be buried..."Throw the Jew down the well!"

  • awesome job man!

  • Wow, got this from IMDb and it was really good.

  • very nice...in good taste..

    ares

  • Oops, I meant Ken. Steve is my other personality.

  • No problem - Steve is my brother who took these photos. Brother acts do get confusing...

  • I love you Steve. I love your site, too. :-) I am all inspired to do something with my head(stone) shots now, too. Take care, Steph the Cryptkeeper

  • Who sings this song?

  • That's the Kinks, from their 1971 (or '72?) album, "Everybody's in Showbiz." Look at the "related videos" links to the right of the comments for several live versions of the song.

  • That was absolutely wonderful! Great song too. I just wish Rudolph Valentino's grave was shown..especially with his name mentioned in the song, how HUGE his funeral was and the story of the Women In Black. I really enjoyed this video. I am a fan of the website as well as www.FindAdeath.com.

  • Wonderful! Found this from a link on Find A Grave. Thanks for sharing!

  • Thanks, that was great! I personally find dead people much more entertaining and easier to comprehend then most of the people I know who are still alive!

  • Great job Ken! Your brother sent me the link. I'm a big fan of BLA! ~~~~ Susan

  • Thanks for embedding this in the Official Tate-LaBianca blog, and your kind words introducing the clip. Keep up the great work.

  • That was a sobering experience. Genius.

  • Nice job, Ken. Isn't it something how a memorial can give you such a connection with history and bring back memories of your own?

  • This was great! I was born and raised in LA ... and left. Nicely done =)

  • hi ken,

i like to go over to the site:FIND A GRAVE(google is our friend) and read the interesting short bios on folks (many famous and just ordinary folks) fasinating

to read and see the charm in the styles of headstones etc... i grew up in upstate n.y. w/ lots of woods(farm country) where one could walk in the woods and come upon old revolutionary war headstones. i love very old burial sites! my friends think i'm nuts! ;-)
