Being the best is far more than goals. I don't think Ronaldo fans realise that. It's about your ability as a player and how you perform against the best. That's why Messi is regarded as the best of his generation. Ronaldo is a goal machine but not against Barca, just the sides in la liga. Messi had less penalties last season and this season, Ronaldo has already had five more, even though Messi still has four more goals. Not to mention, Ronaldo had 100 more shots alone in the league last season.Messi also drops deeper than Ronaldo does far more often. He is not all about goals but assists too. Ronaldo may yet again outscore Messi- but it will not make him a better player. That's obvious when you compare their overall displays. Messi also does it against the best teams.
