Birute00-I'm in Chicago & the bank is near my home.Supervid97-appreciate the feedback. A foundation was also set up for her daughter after the murders. No, it wasn't difficult to break up with his ass. He had no money & had begun asking me on a regular basis. Something wasn't right about him & he told me-without telling me that he was crazy. Some men should just be off limits. You know if they want what you want out of life. Chicago neighborhoods have this silly "tough" don't fuck with me facade

Initially, I wasn't going to post them, but decided it was important. Shootings happened shortly after I left, the next day and just an hour ago in this neighborhood. I recently broke up with someone who had a criminal past,used drugs and had a history of being violent towards women. He also mentioned having a nervous breakdown. He had periods of anxiety, depression and regret. One of my old bosses lost her daughter when her estranged husband shot the child to death then shot himself.

That must have been hard to break up, especially if he had periods of regret. And your boss....how does she go on after losing her child like that? :( The nightmare of what Jennifer Hudson's family has suffered is bringing attention to the suffering of many. The terror dear Julian must have felt in the final hours of his own life is too sad to imagine.

A little girl named Jennifer Short, age 9, was lost in a similar situation in the area where I live six years ago. Both parents were shot to death in their rural home. The Shorts were good people who appeared to have no enemies. Jennifer was missing until five weeks later when her skeletal remains were found by a man whose dogs kept bringing bones up from the woods. Even typing this upsets me. The case has yet to be solved and Jennifer remains on my heart.

Thank you so much for sharing this. It is overwhelming to see all the stuffed animals along the fence and sad to know what happened here just a week ago- RIP Darnell, Jason and Julian.
