What a treat! To see Bobby McFerrin with Esperanza Spalding is definitely the Wow Factor! I havent' heard Mr. McFerrin perform in a really long time. I guess he just likes his privacy more than public performance. I respect that, but I would love to see him more. He is just as much a genius musician as she is!

Es is a Berkeley Professor, and has played with some of the top folks on the planet. And she will continue to do that as long as she lives, so she's going to keep getting better. That said, the Grammies are kinda crap anyway. At least they didn't mess this one up.
