Rick perry needs to be shot. He is terrible. He claims education is important when in Texas everything revolves around tests and competing with other states and MONEY! Rick Perry is a dumb ass.
I'm from Texas. I have lived there for 22 years and never heard a person refer to Rick Perry as "Papa Rick." Just curious as to where you heard that moniker thrown around.
Great video! Very well informed and you certainly know what you are talking about. I think that Americans need to get real and stop being lazy. I'm in no way a communist but look how it's working in china. Now, I'm not saying this is the solution, however, we need to figure out something like they did. I have no idea how, but we have to get over the biased political party bullshit and figure something out.
@MetalAcitistJim I'm a Zeitgeist fan myself, but I don't spread the word on it because its facts are not checked at all. I'm a religious studies major and his points on religion are all fabricated.
@TheEasternStandard Zeitgeist is not a historical record, it reveals the control fraud mind trap of religion and exposes it for the mind virus that it is, it not about historical records at all, but you should now their is zero secular record for the account of Jesus actually existing as a person, no record of his death, nothing.
Perry actually doesn't have that much support anymore, given his horrible debate performance. Most of the money is given to him by his big oil buddies in Texas. Only 4% of his campaign donations thus far was from small donors.
Not really. You mostly just proved that you're a homophobe, and said that no one cares, despite the fact that both of them have a decent number of subscribers. I'm not trying to start anything, but if you're not a troll, then next time use a valid argument.
Perry isnt the only one who is an idiot. Herman Cain is another idiot with his 999 bill and saying for the people who are unemployment it is their own fault that they are. Another thing when Fox News asked him about abortion he couldn't even give a clear answer about it Yeah I know Fox News is crap but still Mr Herman Cain could not answer the question properly what a dumb ass. Man with im surprised that the Debt lvl of CA is less than Texas even with the Governator.
You know what, If that retarded bitch Sarah Bachman gets elected, I have absolutly no hope for America. The Goverment has been Republicized and America is going to end up in hell...So I will have no choice but to live up to the hell until I have enough money to move to another country.
But everyone PLEASE REPLY TO THIS QUESTION: Which country would you recommend that would be a great country to go to. (You don't have to reply though.)
@TheTrollTime Bad news. This country, with the massive debt we have can't actually afford to lower taxes, especially drastically. Sure, the Republicans are cutting all sorts of spending (all in the wrong places BTW), but that alone won't get rid of the debt. We also need to increase revenue, and raising taxes is one way to do that. Sure, the government SHOULD raise the taxes on the rich, to at least the tax levels of the 50's, but the rich are absolutely opposed to that because they are GREEDY.
@GoongalaGoongala Sure the Greedy rich bastards are opposed to that but they have no power to stop the goverment right? If they do..WHO THE FUCK GAVE THEM THE POWER?...Oh wait I forgot, fucking rich Republicans are.
It is a bit odd for the U.S election this time, as it seems to be a bit more divided from the Canadian perspective. I really don't know what the U.S.A's fate will be like, especially with the current debts. I won't claim to know everything or anywhere near but...yeah, I'm very curious to see what will happen for said nation in the next several years.
Actually, Ralph Nader did have a fighting chance when he ran during the presidential race against King George the 2nd. He had gained the (then) 10% popular vote to participate in the debates when, magically, the popular vote bar was then set to 15 (Nader had about 12 or 13%). When the Debate Committee was asked they answered "We wanted to abide by the wishes of our sponsors" and then to take it a step further, they wouldn't even allow Nader in the building where the debates were held.
John, it's 1:30 am and this video is a 17 minute long politics video. I'm way too tired to pay attention long enough to get the full info from the video so I will be watching it tomorrow. Rest assured that I WILL watch it in its entirety though.
whats the point of even working min. wage. the second you lose the job for any reason. you are poor again. People we never be able to retire with min, wage.
there was a book written in the fucking 70s about a woman who tried to live off of min. wage for a whole year. Her calculation in the 70s(inflation since then) was AT least 15.00 a hour, to live a decent life. 7.25 is made to keep you poor.
As dangerous as Perry would be, I honestly think Cain is a lot worse. That man boils my blood every time he opens his mouth.
As faulty, and semi-conservative that Obama is, he's still pretty good, and I'm keeping my vote there. It would be a cold day in Hell if I voted Republican in this day and age; their only goal is to make sure that the poor get poorer, and the rich get richer.
Luckily, by the looks of things so far, the average person either skipped over this video or just watched a few minutes of it, so you're the only one to have noticed it.
Shit, I could have said "fuck you all" and no one would have seen it - because I'd have put it at a late stage in the video, about the time the average person has given up.
@undertakerfreak1127 it's because people these days don't really care about politics, they see a video like this and roll their eyes. It's really kind of sad that more people don't pay attention to what's going on in these things.
Yet they'll always be the first to comment on how this person is better then that person because that's what I'm told by other people and I'll be the sheep that they want me to be. It's pathetic they rely on people to tell them how to vote, when to vote. So Fuck Them
I think that all of us should learn to be content the best we can get in this in imperfect world and not let all of the bad deter us from doing and attaining the best we can.
Sure neither politics nor politicians are anywhere near perfect but you shouldn't completely discount either. Anyone who likes economic safety nets, social programs, protection of liberty, protection from terrorists and other foreign threats, roads, schools, etc. all of those things come to us via politics and politicians. I think most people expect so much from politics and other things that they want them to be perfect, which is unrealistic leads utter cynicism and pessimism.
@undertakerfreak1127 There's no what that you can say that all politicians act only on behalf of the rich. If that were the case there would be no political parties or ideological differences between politicians. Some politicians support the rich (conservatives), some politicians are for the middle class and the low-income (liberals) which causes real conflict. Ideas are somewhat influenced by constituents but it is the politicians who formulate programs so they are fulfilling an important task.
Anyway, as I said before without politicians many things that benefit us wouldn't be possible. On top of that under other political systems (like those of North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Sudan, Syria, etc.) things are far worse than they are under the U.S. political system. I think most individuals get so bogged down on how things aren't perfect that they forget all of the opportunities and things available under the American system and all of the bad would be if things were different.
@TheMick2639 Its true that we in the USA have a lot of freedoms and opportunities that other countries don't have, but I think its important to recognize this country's imperfections. sure, appreciate the positives, but how are we going to change things and make them better if we just ignore all this country's problems and instead praise all the good things we as Citizens of the USA have. One of the USA's biggest problems is we as a people have become divided ideologically - right vs. left.
@TheMick2639 (Cont) The elected leaders of this country, among others, have worked very hard to demonize the opposition.Just look at how alot of conservatives speak about liberals, and all the nasty things liberals say about conservatives. According to them, its the other side thats ruining the country, when in truth its the elite who are contributing most to this country's problems. If we are divided, fighting amongst ourselves, we can't effect change.
@TheMick2639 (Cont) We have the numbers but there is too much in fighting and the "powers that be" know that and its their greatest advantage over us. Thats not even mentioning that the people of the USA are generally stupid. I know thats shitty to say, but if you look closely at the people in this country, it becomes painfully obvious. Nothing will ever change or get better unless we, the citizens of the USA, stand up and demand it. Until we actually unite though, nothing will ever change.
@GoongalaGoongala I agree 100% that is what the ballot box is for. One of things more us need to look for in candidates is "moderation" (moderates) because the heavily partisan politicians are the ones who are the cause of the gridlock that plagues our government today, as they are more concerned with serving their party than serving their country.
@DoctorKrabs Well, you can suck for other reasons than being a hypocrite. I would never vote for someone who wants to puts the economy back a few hundred years. How is that good for the economy?
@DoctorKrabs Wait a minute, how do you know he's an honest man? I'm sorry, man, but I have hard times believing he's not a liar like all the other politicians.
I noticed you said Texas was in Debt ...Debt that will have to be delt with thats really America overall.,I just know thats going have a nasty sting to its tail.
SO glad I'm not a conservative. All these guys are shitty jokes being picked up by embarrassing clowns (the GOP voting base). I know a few really intelligent conservatives, and they can't stand guys like Perry, or the idiots who vote for them.
