Each state has it's own rules on carrying a gun and in New Jersey you can't carry AT ALL. You must have a permit and It has to be in your house or if in your car it has to be in the trunk unloaded separate from the clip. Look it at this way: say the city you live in is nationaly recognized as home to countless criminals and addicts. Look it at this way: say the city you live in is nationaly recognized as home to countless criminals and addicts. Would you feel safe knowing that they can easily acess a gun and go on a rampage with it as long as they haven't been caught? Newark has reached a point where actions like this need to be taken in their city. As long as you present no danger and don't appear to be a threat, they arn't taking your gun from you.

That said, Cory Booker is perhaps the best mayor in the US and I know this because I am a city planner and I know cities better than any of your douchbags do who are hating on booker. But you see. A "concealed" weapon is illegal. That's why You need a permit for a "concealed" weapon. Cop's do not carry "concealed" weapons. That's why when they carry it's legal. There is nothing in the laws that state that Open carry is illegal. It makes no difference if it's manual, semi automatic or automatic. Any law that infringes on anyone's right to bare arms is a violation of the constitution.. Period !
