Crosby's be the best in the league right now if he could stay healthy and play more than 65 games a year. But if you were starting a team and needed one player, it'd have to be Ovechkin, if only because he plays and produces every game.

ovechkin is easily the best... scores, assists, fights, hits, never complains... you don't win a ton of individual trophies because you aren't one of the best... if he had more help, the Caps would win a few stanley cups with him... Semin is good, but he's a pansy.. the other russians around him are old and slow
